Wolves v Burnley Premier League Preview, 16th September 1.30pm
Wolves are holding their own well enough in the Premier League this season but this is the kind of game against an established side that they will want to win. Burnley haven’t had a good time of things at all this season, neither in Europe nor on the domestic front. They could be in trouble again. Read our Wolves v Burnley betting tips for more.

Wolves News and Form
It had been a decent enough start from Wolves to life in the Premier League. They have collected five points from their opening four games. From the perspective of them being a newly-promoted side, it’s not a bad return for them. They are definitely looking for a bit more of a clinical finish in and around the penalty box. Wolves have come up with just the two goals in their last three games. Just before the international break, Wolves posted a great home draw against Manchester City and then edged a win over Newcastle at St James Park. In the over/under market, under 2.5 goals is at 8/13 odds* (Betting Odds were taken from September 13th, 2018 at 8:16 p.m.).
Each of Wolves’ last three games in the top flight have gone under the goal line. To be fair they have had some quality performers this season notably Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez but it was new singing Adama Traore who got their winner against West Ham just before the international break. He is at 3/1 odds in the anytime goalscorer market* (Betting Odds were taken from September 13th, 2018 at 8:16 p.m.). He is looking for that first full debut after having had made only appearances off the bench.
Burnley News and Form
This is not the start that Burnley would have wanted for season. Four games into the new season of Premier League action and they have just the one point on the board. They have lost each of their last three games and the Clarets have uncharacteristically have conceded at least two goals in each of those defeats. So they are having some troubles at the back and they are not producing enough going forward to make up for that. That is five defeats in their last six Premier League now.
Burnley picked up a 0-0 draw at Southampton in their opening away game of the season and in their second one they suffered a big 4-2 loss out at Fulham. Going back to their defence they have conceded at least 2 goals in 5 of their last six Premier League games. A Wolves 2-0 correct score option is at 13/2 odds which is worth considering until Burnley have proven they can turn things around. Last season the Clarets posted on W7 D7 L5 record away from home averaging 1.05 goals per game. Will the international break have done them good in recharging their batteries?
Wolves v Burnley Head to Head
The last four matches between Wolves and Burnley have all been in the Championship and Burnley went W2 D2 from those. They have met in the Premier League before as they were together in the 2009/10 season. Wolves collected wins in both of those top-flight meetings. Both teams have scored in just three of the last eight games between them.
Who will win – Wolves v Burnley Predictions
Wolves have played some fine stuff this season and should be able to take their chances on home soil against a side who are really struggling to find their form. We are going to look at Wolves picking up a win to nil in the game for our Wolves v Burnley betting tips.
