Russia are trying to catch leaders Belgium in Group I of Euro 2020 qualification. It is Russia and Belgium who are the favourites to qualify from the group. It is six points from three games so far that the Russians have recorded for themselves and the goals have been flowing freely from them. Cyprus had managed to get off to a bright start in their qualification campaign, but have fallen to back-to-back defeats. Read our Russia v Cyprus betting tips for more.

Russia News and Form

Russia produced a 9-0 win over San Marino on Saturday. That followed up on their 4-0 away win over Kazakhstan. Russia are sat on a W2 L1 record from their three qualification matches so far having opened with a 3-1 reverse in Belgium. Russia were on a three-match losing streak of form before their successes over Kazakhstan and San Marino. So that was a good lift that they took for themselves. They go into the next round of qualifiers level on six points with Scotland.

Across their last nine fixtures, Russia have won five and lost three and their notable form has come on home soil. Russia are W3 D1 in their last four home fixtures, not having conceded a single goal in any of their last three there. Going back to their goal scoring, Russia have scored 16 goals across their last four home games. Given the rest of the level of opposition in this group aside from Belgium, Russia will be expected to reach next summer’s finals.

Russia v Cyprus Head to Head

Russia took a 1-0 win over Cyprus in a 2003 friendly, their most recent meeting
It is a W6 D1 L0 record that Russia have over Cyprus
Cyprus have scored one goal only in their last five games against Russia
Russia won their last home fixture against Cyprus 4-0

Cyprus News and Form

Cyprus lost 2-1 in Scotland on Saturday. They looked to have secured a point in the 87th minute when Ioannis Kousoulos put them level. However, they could not hang onto their point as Scotland scored a winner just two minutes later. Cyprus opened their Euro 2020 qualification campaign with a 5-0 home success over San Marino. That is the only win that they have taken in their last seven games played now. They have lost three of their last four played.

The Cypriots have collected just two wins in their last nine games played now, losing five of those. They have been struggling to put the ball in the back of the net with just the one goal recorded across their last four fixtures. Whether having been said they have scored in each of their last three away games, netting exactly one goal in each of those fixtures. They are however only D1 L3 in their last four away games. Cyprus have conceded exactly 2 goals in three of their last four away games.

Russia v Cyprus Tips & Odds

Russia to win to nil at 8/11
2-0 Correct Score Russia 5/1
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on June 10th, 2019 at 7:44 p.m.)

Who will win – Russia v Cyprus Predictions

Russia are a tough side to get the better of on home soil, so it looks as if they should be easing their way to a relatively comfortable home success in this fixture. Cyprus are not likely to have the goals to match up to them and Russia to win to nil option looks a strong proposition.

Italy v Bosnia Prediction & Betting Tips, 11th June 2019

Euro Betting

Italy v Bosnia Euro 2020 Qualifiers Preview, 11th June 7.45pm

Italy are ticking over nicely in their Euro 2020 qualification campaign. It has been three wins from three and are yet to concede a goal in the group. Next for them comes the challenge of Bosnia who suffered a pretty big setback on the weekend with a 2-0 defeat in Finland. Can Italy keep their strong momentum going? Read our Italy v Bosnia betting tips for more.

Italy v Bosnia Betting Odds*

Italy 4/11
Draw 17/4
Bosnia-Herzegovina 17/2
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on June 10th, 2019 at 7:44 p.m.)

Italy News and Form

It is a four-match winning streak that Italy find themselves on at the moment. On the weekend they collected a 3-0 success out in Greece making it three wins from three in their Euro 2020 qualification group. Across their three qualifiers so far Italy have scored 11 unanswered goals. The defensive output of Italy has been superb, really going back to their Nations League campaign. They have not conceded a single goal in any of their last six games played now and have earned one in seven of their last eight. So that is some impressive output and it does hint at them being on a pretty good trajectory.

To be realistic this is a pretty easy qualification group that they have in front of them and it would be a major surprise if they didn’t win it. The Italians do look a little bit as if they are still trying to find their best side but with a goal in two of their three European championship qualifiers so far, Nicolo Barella may be worth considering in the anytime goalscorer market. Just looking back at their game against Greece on the weekend, Italy took  70% possession and produced 10 shots on target in the fixture.

Italy v Bosnia Head to Head

This will be the first competitive meeting between the two nations in Italy

Bosnia News and Form

Bosnia have earned four points from their opening three Euro 2020 qualification matches. Considering the difficulty of this away game they will probably be happy with just picking up a point out of it. They started their qualification campaign with a 2-1 home success over Armenia, before being held to a 2-2 draw at home against Greece. But then they had a pretty major collapse on the weekend as they suffered a 2-0 reverse out in Finland. This trip to Italy will be their toughest fixture of the entire qualification campaign.

Bosnia have won only one of their last five fixtures played, which was their success over Armenia (D2 L2). Bosnia have also been having a bit of trouble putting the ball in the back of the net as they have failed to score in four of their last seven fixtures now. They are also winless in their last four away games, losing two of those. Since a 2-1 success in Northern Ireland during the Nations League group stage, Bosnia are on a four-match away streak without a goal having been put on the board.

Italy v Bosnia Tips & Odds

Italy to win to nil at 10/11
Italy 2-0 correct score at 9/2
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on June 10th, 2019 at 7:44 p.m.)

Who will win – Italy v Bosnia Predictions

Italy are the clear favourite in this fixture and should be a fairly comfortable evening for them. It is hard to see after their loss in Finland, just how Bosnia are going to come up with anything to challenge the Italians. Italy to win to nil.

Iceland v Turkey Euro 2020 Qualifiers Preview, 11th June 7.45pm

This is a big game for Turkey in Group H of Euro 2020 qualification. They sprung a huge surprise taking victory over France on the weekend which leaves them probably group with three wins from three. Iceland though are only three points behind them. Will they be able to take advantage of this fixture on home soil to get themselves further into the mix for automatic qualification spot? Iceland News and Form

It hasn’t been a bad start from Iceland in their Euro 2020 qualification campaign. They opened with a 2-0 away success at Andorra and on Saturday produced a 1-0 home success over Albania. Sandwiched between those two successes was a bit of a chastening 4-0 defeat against France. Iceland had a poor Nations League campaign and in fact, before the Euro 2020 qualifiers started, they were on a seven-match winless streak of form, losing four of those fixtures.

Iceland have won just two of their 10 fixtures since the start of September 2018. One positive that they can take with them into this game against Turkey is that they have collected a clean sheet in three of their last four games played. But those were games against weaker opposition than what Turkey is. Iceland have failed to score in three of their last six fixtures. A win in this one would really shake things up in the top two of Group H, but will Iceland have enough to stop the in-form Turkey?

Iceland v Turkey Head to Head

Iceland and Turkey were parent up in World Cup 2018 qualification
Iceland won both of those fixtures with a clean sheet
Iceland leave the overall head-to-head W3 L1 against Turkey
Both teams have NOT scored in the four previous meetings

Turkey News and Form

Turkey have hit the ground running in Euro 2020 qualification with three straight victories. Across those successes, they have scored eight unanswered goals. On the weekend they pulled off the biggest shock so far of the qualifiers, producing a 2-0 home success against the reigning world champions France. That leaves Turkey fully in control at the top of the table, three points ahead of both France and Ireland. So they may well see the importance of picking up a point in this one which will guarantee that they stay on top of the group at the end of this international break.

It is some form that Turkey are currently on at the moment because it is a five-match winning streak that they have running. Considering that they didn’t exactly set the stage alight in the nations league this has been something of a surprising run of form from them. They seem to have settled into being in pretty decent side at the moment. In each of their last five games played they have scored at least two goals. Their defensive output is also worth a mention as well because they have five clean sheets in their last six games played now.

Iceland v Turkey Tips & Odds

Turkey to win to nil at 6/4
Turkey 1-0 correct score at 6/1
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on June 10th, 2019 at 7:44 p.m.)

Who will win – Iceland v Turkey Predictions

Iceland are not in any kind of form at the moment and there should be a good chance for Turkey to keep up their momentum. Turkey were actually annoyed by their treatment at the airport upon arriving in Iceland so that my fire them up more to go out and produce the victory. Turkey to win.

Belarus v Northern Ireland Euro 2020 qualifiers Preview, 11th June 7.45pm

Northern Ireland made it three wins from three at the start of Eeuro 2020 qualification with a win over Estonia on Saturday. It’s back into action out on the road for them as they visit Belarus. Belarus are bottom without a point. The Irish need to continue taking maximum points ahead of much bigger tests to come. Read our Belarus v Northern Ireland betting tips for more.

Belarus News and Form

Belarus are on a three-match losing streak at the moment after a 2-0 home loss against Germany on the weekend. That is eight goals that they have conceded in their three Euro 2020 qualification matches so far. Belarus had been on a good seven-match unbeaten streak of form before these qualifiers. That was from the Nations League where they were facing much weaker opposition than what they are coming up against in this group.

Belarus are W2 D1 L1 in their last four home games but came up a long way short of looking any kind of threat again Germany on Saturday. They have scored just one goal in their last three games now, which was in their 2-1 loss at Northern Ireland in their second qualification match of this campaign. The bonus for them is that they won their Nations League group so are at least guaranteed a Euro 2020 qualification play-off place. They aren’t likely to break the top two in this group.

Belarus v Northern Ireland Head to Head

Belarus lost 2-1 in Belfast earlier in this qualification campaign
This will be the first meeting between the two nations in Belarus

Northern Ireland News and Form

The Irish are on a three-match winning streak at the moment. That is crucial to their qualification hopes. They have to win all of these games against the weaker group opponents. That is because they are going to have big games against the Netherlands and Germany in the group to come. Northern Ireland don’t have the cushion of having earned a qualification play-off place via the Nations League, so have to book a top-two finish in this group. That’s going to be mightily tough.

But this still will have lifted their spirits. They had lost four of their previous six games (W1 D1) before the start of the Euro 2020 qualification campaign. They will want their defence to tighten up against because they have taken just one clean sheet in their last four games. As a positive in attack, they have scored exactly two goals in each of the last three games. The away form of the Irish isn’t great as they are only W1 D1 L2 in their last four games out on the road, failing to score in three of those.

Belarus v Northern Ireland Tips & Odds

Both teams NOT to score at 4/6
Northern Ireland on goal winning margin at 3/1
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on June 9th, 2019 at 6:50 p.m.)

Who will win – Belarus v Northern Ireland Predictions

Belarus are out of form and Northern Ireland know that their qualification hopes are going to be hugely dependent on them getting maximum points from games like this. They do have a bit of wind in their sails. Northern Ireland to win.

Spain are well in control of things at the top of Group F in Euro 2020 qualification and that will be stronger if they win this one. They will be taking on second-placed Sweden on Monday. The Swedes trail the Spanish by a couple of points so could shake things up at the top with a victory. Read our Spain v Sweden betting tips for more.

Spain News and Form

Spain eased to a 4-1 away win at the Faroe Islands on Friday, making it three wins from three in their qualification group. Surprisingly though they have only managed one clean sheet in their three played. It is back to home soil for them on Monday, just their second at home for the qualification campaign. Their other one saw them produce a 2-1 win over Norway. It is a four-match winning streak that the Spaniards are currently on at the moment. That was after their shock back to back defeats against England and Croatia in the nations League, both of those were 3-2 reverses.

Spain have scored in all nine internationals played since the start of September last year, netting at least two goals in all but two of the games in that sequence. But going back to their lack of clean sheets, it has been just two in seven from Spain. They are comfortably on the path to earning top spot in this group and a win moves them five points clear of Sweden having played four of ten games. Defender Sergio Ramos has scored in three of Spain’s last four games played so may be worth considering in the anytime goalscorer market.

Spain v Sweden Head to Head

The most recent was a Spain 2-1 win at Euro 2008
The two traded home wins in Euro 2008 qualification
Spain are W4 D1 L3 against Sweden
Both teams have scored in just one of the last three meetings

Sweden News and Form

Sweden are W4 D3 in their last seven games. On Friday they played host to Malta in the Euro 2020 qualifiers and earned a 3-0 win. That is back to back games in which the Swedes have scored three goals now. Actually, they have netted at least two goals in each of their last four played. Sweden are in a great bit of current form having won four of their last five played (D1). In their qualifiers so far they are W2 D1.

The dropped points for them came against Norway in a wonderful 3-3 draw. Sweden have taken a clean sheet in four of their last seven games have been doing well on that front as well. Viktor Claesson is on a three-match scoring streak for Sweden at the moment. Sweden won their Nations League Group so will be moving up to the top tier next season. They took a W2 D1 L1 record in a tricky group against Russia and Turkey, taking four-points on the road and not conceding on their travels.

Spain v Sweden Tips & Odds

Who will win – Spain v Sweden Predictions

This could be a good competitive game. Sweden are in decent form at the moment to make themselves very difficult to beat. Spain will be expected to come away with the three points, but they haven’t been watertight at the back. Spain to win & both teams to score.

Euro Betting

Ireland v Gibraltar Euro 2020 Qualifiers Preview, 10th June 7.45pm

Ireland got themselves a pretty good point out in Denmark on Friday to keep themselves in good position at the top of Group D. They are three points clear of second-placed Switzerland (having played a game more), going into this one. This should be a winnable home match for the Irish against Gibraltar who haven’t managed a goal or a point yet. Read our Ireland v Gibraltar betting tips for more.

Ireland v Gibraltar Betting Odds*

Ireland 1/50
Draw 18/1
Gibraltar 50/1
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on June 9th, 2019 at 6:50 p.m.)

Ireland News and Form

A late goal by Shane Duffy saw Ireland pick up a point in Denmark. That moved them on to a good five-match undefeated streak of form, winning two of them. They have suffered just one defeat in their last eight games now. Their struggles in front of goal have continued though as they have netted just the three goals in their last seven. Those three goals have come consecutively in their last three games though.

Each of Ireland’s last eight games have ended up going under 2.5 goals. Ireland have only conceded in two of their last seven played, so have been tight in defence, without question. The Irish opened their Euro 2020 qualification campaign with a game against Gibraltar and struggled to grind out a 1-0 away win. It is likely to be a it easier for them on home soil. Ireland though have come up with just one goal in their last four home games, so there’s no indication that they are going to be firing off a big score.

Ireland v Gibraltar Head to Head

Ireland won their one previous home game 7-0 against Gibraltar
The Irish have won all three previous fixture against Gibraltar
Gibraltar have failed to score in three against Ireland
Two of three previous meetings have gone over 2.5 goals

Gibraltar News and Form

Gibraltar suffered a 3-0 loss at Georgia on Friday, which leaves them without a point from their two Euro 2020 qualifiers. They have failed to score in either two. That is a five-match losing streak that Gibraltar are currently on since their 2-1 home win over Liechtenstein in October last year. Gibraltar have lost seven of their last nine fixtures, failing to score in six of those seven losses in the sequence.

They are W2 L5 in their last seven fixtures, their wins coming in back to back Nations League games against Armenia and then Leichtenstein. Their win in Armenia was their first ever competitive away victory. That is since joining UEFA. It is unlikely that they are going to be laying down a big threat to the Irish.

Ireland v Gibraltar Tips & Odds

Ireland 3-0 correct score
Under 3.5 goals at 13/8
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on June 9th, 2019 at 6:50 p.m.)

Who will win – Ireland v Gibraltar Predictions

It should be a comfortable home win for the Irish, but it’s probably not worth expecting a goal fest. Just twice in their last nine games have Gibraltar conceded more than three goals, so it’s worth looking at an Irish win and under 3.5 goals.

Denmark were held to a 1-1 home draw with Ireland on Friday which leaves them with some catching up to do in Group D of Euro 2020 qualification. It is two points from two games from them so far. They will start this game a point behind Georgia who have played a game more than they have. Read our Denmark v Georgia betting tips for more.

Denmark v Georgia Betting Odds*

Denmark 1/4
Draw 9/2
Georgia 11/1
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on June 9th, 2019 at 6:50 p.m.)

Denmark News and Form

It is a four-match sequence of draws that the Danes are currently on. That includes a 3-3 draw against Switzerland and their 1-1 draw with Ireland in the Euro 2020 qualifiers. Remarkably they had been 3-0 down in Switzerland with under ten minutes on the clock and managed to get a point. They looked to be heading to three points against Ireland, but conceded five minutes from time. Denmark are undefeated in their last eight games now but have won only three of those.

They have scored in all but one of their last six, so are doing pretty well in that regard. As for their defence, they have taken a clean sheet in half of their last eight games, but have failed to record one in any of their last four. Back in their Nations League campaign they had topped their group over Wales and Ireland with a W2 D2 record and didn’t concede in either home game.

Denmark v Georgia Head to Head

The most recent meeting was a 2-1 friendly win for Denmark in 2013
Denmark are W2 D1 in their three previous games against Georgia
Both teams have scored in the three previous meetings
The Danes have scored at least two goals in each of their three against Georgia

Georgia News and Form

Georgia snapped back to back defeats with a 3-0 home win over Gibraltar on Friday. That is a W1 L2 record that they have taken in their three Euro 2020 qualification games so far. They are actually W6 D1 L2 in their last nine games which isn’t a bad record at all. They won their Nations League group, which is a big part of that recent positive form from them. But then they struggled in their opening qualification games with losses against Switzerland and Ireland.

Georgia failed to score in either of those losses. If they were to collect a win in his one it would move them up into second place in the table and it would really leave Denmark struggling as well. So it will be interesting to see what they can do in this one. Their 1-0 loss in Ireland saw them have a three-match undefeated streak of away from snapped. Georgia has scored in all but two of their last nine games played.

Denmark v Georgia Tips & Odds

Under 2.5 goals at 19/20
Denmark to win to nil at 8/11

Who will win – Denmark v Georgia Predictions

Denmark should be able to get their first win of the campaign on the board in this one. It may not be a particular open game though as Georgia will look to avoid defeat. So a home win and under 2.5 goals looks a solid proposition.

Poland v Israel Euro 2020 Qualifiers Preview, 10th June 7.45pm

This is a top two clash in Group G of Euro 2020 qualification. Poland are leading the way with a two-point advantage over Israel. So this is an important game at the top which could either see Poland strengthen their position or Israel shake things up by winning. It should be a pretty interesting fixture nonetheless unless both just set their stall out not to lose. Read our Poland v Israel betting tips for more.

Poland v Israel Betting Odds*

Poland 1/2
Draw 31/10
Israel 11/2
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on June 9th, 2019 at 6:50 p.m.)

Poland News and Form

Poland are on a three-match winning streak at the moment. On Friday they edged a 1-0 win out in Macedonian in their third qualifier. That built on their two successes over Austria and Latvia in the group prior to that. Each of their last three wins in their current form have been with a clean sheet. This has been a pretty good response from Poland actually because they had a poor time of things in the Nations League, finishing bottom of their group behind Italy and Portugal.

They were on a run of six winless games (D3 L3) before the start of this European Championships qualification campaign. The surprising thing about this upturn in form is that Robert Lewandovski has gotten just one of Poland’s four goals in the group. It its Krysztof Piatken who is leading the way for them with two. Each of Poland’s last six games have ended under 2.5 goals, so it probably not worth expecting fireworks in this fixture.

Poland v Israel Head to Head

Poland’s one previous game against Arsenal ended in a 3-2 win
That was an intentional friendly back in 2005

Israel News and Form

So Israel have made a positive start to their Euro 2020 qualification campaign, having taken seven points from their three games so far. They opened with a 1-1 draw at home against Slovenia before putting a wonderful 4-2 home success on the board of Austria. On Friday they made the trip to Latvia and put up a 3-0 victory. So that’s seven goals in two games from them. Actually, the recent scoring form of Israel is well worth noting actually.

They have scored at least two goals in six of their last seven games now. Remarkably seven of Israel’s eight goals so far in the Euro 2020 qualifying group has come from one man. That is Eran Zahavi who has scored back to back hat tricks. There will probably never be a better time than now to consider him in the anytime goalscorer market. Latvia have taken just the one clean sheet in their last three games, so this is going to be a really interesting fixture.

Poland v Israel Tips & Odds

Czech Republic News and Form

The Czech Republic recorded a 2-1 home win over Bulgaria on Friday snapping back to back defeats which they had suffered. They opened their Euro 2020 qualification campaign with 5-0 drubbing at Wembley against England. They stepped out against Brazil in a friendly and lost. So the win over Bulgaria will have eased some pressure off them. It leaves them with a W4 L5 record in their last nine games, going back to the Nations League at the start of December.

The Czech Republic have been struggling for goals a bit. Just twice in their last nine games have they managed to score more than one goal in a match. So that’s a bit of a problem for them. They are also now without a clean sheet in any of their last three. Back in the Nations League the Czech Republic finished sandwiched between Ukraine and Slovakia in their group, but they only went W1 L1 in their two home fixtures. They are W2 L2 in their last four home fixtures.

Czech Republic v Montenegro Head to Head

The Czech Republic won both previous meetings with Montenegro
That was in the Euro 2012 qualifiers
Montenegro failed to score in both of those previous

Montenegro News and Form

It is a five-match winless streak of from that Montenegro are currently one, having picked up just two points from that sequence of games. They have collected a win in two of their last nine games played now. They have actually been scoring consistently recently. Montenegro have only failed to score in one of their last six fixtures now, which was a 1-0 loss against Romania in the Nations League.

The trouble for them is that their last clean sheet happened back on September 10th in a 2-0 win over Lithuania. That’s a seven-match sequence without one now. Both teams have scored in five of their last six played. With them having three games under their belt already, more than any of the top three in the group have played at the moment, to keep their qualification hopes up they need a win here. That would move them two points clear of the Czech Republic at the end of this international break.

Czech Republic v Montenegro Tips & Odds

Who will win – Czech Republic v Montenegro Predictions

The draw has a little bit of appeal in the match outright in this one. The Czech’s are lacking something in attacking quality and therefore there is a chance that the visitors could stick in there. The draw in the match outright looks a decent proposition.

On the weekend they played host to Kazakhstan and coasted to a 3-0 win and they will be expected to top Group I at a canter. Belgium have conceded just one goal in their three qualifiers so far. They have netted exactly three goals in both of their home games so far.

So it has all been pretty routine stuff from them. They are W7 D1 L1 in their last nine games. Their only loss there was that 5-2 defeat in Switzerland in their final Nations League group match, a result which cost them the group win. Belgium has three clean sheets in their last five games. They just have so much variety in depth and the goals just continue flow from different players. Forwards Dries Mertens and Romelu Lukaku were both on target on the weekend. Eden Hazard scored two of their three goals in their 3-1 home win over Russia earlier in the group.

Belgium v Scotland Head to Head

Belgium are W8 D2 L1 in the overall head to head against the Scots

Scotland News and Form

Scotland gave Steve Clarke a win in his first game in charge. They left it late though, with Oliver Burke netting in the 89th minute to give Scotland a home 2-1 win over Cyprus. That was just two minutes after conceding to the visitors when it looked as if Scotland had thrown the points away. So that was a huge sigh of relief, but they are going to come under far greater pressure in this next qualifier. This starts a tough run of games for Scotland who face Belgium and Russia in their next four group fixtures

Scotland are W4 L1 in their last five games, so they have that going for them at least. It’s been a while since they played a top team though. Really since a 3-1 home defeat in a friendly against Portugal in October, they haven’t played anyone of note. So far on their travels in the group, they have lost 3-0 at Kazakhstan and have ground out a poor 2-0 win in San Marino. Overall the Scots are W2 L2 in their last four away games.

Who will win – Belgium v Scotland Predictions

The Red Devils should pick up the victory in this. Scotland are not likely going to be able to match up to them at all. Belgium are just full of goals and the home win to nil is a strong proposition as Scotland may struggle to get much of the ball.
