Spain vs Romania Euro 2020 Qualifiers Preview, 18th November 7.45pm

Spain will be heading to Euro 2020 after winning their group ahead of Sweden. So nothing is riding on this game for either Spain or Romania. That is because the Romanians have missed out on a qualification spot and only have a slim chance of making it through to the play offs. Read our Spain vs Romania betting tips for more.

Spain vs Romania Betting Odds*

Spain 2/13
Draw 6/1
Romania 14/1
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 15th, 2019 at 8:21 p.m.)

Spain News and Form

Spain have flexed their muscles in qualifying Group F with a W7 D2 record from their nine games. They ran up a 7-0 scoreline over Malta at home on the weekend. That leaves them with four wins from their four home games and in that sequence, they have conceded just one goal as well. In total in this qualifying group, Spain have tallied 26 goals in their 9 fixtures. They have conceded only five.

Since their failed Nations League campaign, Spain have won 8 of their last 10 fixtures (competitive and friendly) drawing the other two. On home soil in all the games they have put together a five-match winning streak, conceding just one goal in that sequence. They have scored at least two goals in six of their last seven home fixtures. Even though they don’t anything at stake, they will be looking to extend their winning streak in European Championship home qualifiers. Their winning streak stands at 21 in such fixtures.

Spain vs Romania Head to Head

Spain are W2 D3 L1 against Romania
Romania lost 2-1 at home against Spain earlier in the group
Both teams have scored in four of the previous six meetings
Romania’s only win over Spain happened in Spain in 1997

Romania News and Form

Romania cannot qualify directly for Euro 2020 but could still squeeze in through the backdoor of the playoffs. There is just one spot on in Path C for Romania to get to and they currently have Serbia, Israel and Hungary ahead of them in the race. So it’s not a great situation for them. Their record in the group so far is W4 D2 L3 which hasn’t been a bad return at all. They have scored well too, averaging just under two goals per game.

Out on the road Romania lost in Sweden, draw in Norway and won in the Faroe Islands and Malta. The away form of Romania has seen them lose just one of their last nine games on the road (competitive and friendly) and that one loss was out in Sweden in this campaign. That is also their only loss away from home in their last eleven European Championship qualification fixtures and they have scored at least two goals in four of their last five.

Spain vs Romania Tips & Odds

Spain to win to nil at 8/11
1-0 HT Score Spain at 2/1
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 15th, 2019 at 8:21 p.m.)

Who will win – Spain vs Romania Predictions

It is a winnable match for Spain and it is a good chance for them to enjoy themselves. They rarely miss the boat on home soil and their home qualifier record is astounding. Spain to win to nil.

Gibraltar v Switzerland Prediction & Betting Tips, 18th November 2019

Euro Betting

Gibraltar v Switzerland Euro 2020 Qualifiers Preview, 18th November 7.45 pm

Switzerland just have to close out the deal at home against Gibraltar to get themselves through to Euro 2020. There are other scenarios at play where they could miss out on qualification altogether. But because they should win this at a canter, it’s really not worth even looking at anything else than an away win. Read our Gibraltar v Switzerland betting tips for more.

Gibraltar v Switzerland Betting Odds*

Switzerland 1/50
Draw 18/1
Gibraltar 40/1
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 15th, 2019 at 8:21 p.m.)

Gibraltar News and Form

Gibraltar never stood a chance of making it through this qualification group successfully. They have yet to earn a single point for their efforts in their seven games played. In that sequence of games, they have only scored twice as well. Those two goals both came in a home loss against Georgia. So that is just one qualifier in which they have scored.

On Friday they made the trip to Denmark and were convincingly beaten once again in a 6-0 reverse. Gibraltar have conceded 25 goals in their seven matches in the group. It is an eleven match losing streak that Gibraltar are currently one (competitive and friendly) and they have scored in just two of those games. They have lost all eight previous European Championship home qualifiers, conceiving at least three goals in but one of those fixtures.

Gibraltar v Switzerland Head to Head

The first meeting in the group was the first game between the two nations

Switzerland News and Form

Switzerland start this game in second place in the group, one point behind leaders Denmark and two points ahead of third-placed Ireland. So if they were to fail to win and the Irish beat Denmark, then Switzerland would miss out on a top-two finish. But that looks highly unlikely to happen. The Swiss banked a 4-0 home win over Gibraltar earlier in the campaign. It is an overall W4 D2 L1 record that they have produced in this campaign, the one reverse happening out at leaders Denmark.

In their other two road games, Switzerland drew in Ireland and no in Georgia. Denis Zakaria is the only Swiss player to have scored more than one goal in this qualifying campaign for Switzerland (2). Overall in competitive and friendly games, Switzerland have won only two of their last eight games played. In European Championship qualifiers away from home, they are W4 D1 L2 in their last eight, both defeats in that sequence happening on the road.

Gibraltar v Switzerland Tips & Odds

Switzerland -3 Asian Handicap at 37/20
Total Goals Exact 4-6 at 2/1
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 15th, 2019 at 8:21 p.m.)

Who will win – Gibraltar v Switzerland Predictions

There is no reason why Switzerland cannot cruise to a victory in this one away from home. The resistance of Gibraltar is not likely to stand up to the quality of the visitors for too long. Switzerland should be able to cover a three-goal handicap.

Ireland vs Denmark Prediction & Betting Tips, 18th November 2019

Euro Betting

Ireland vs Denmark Euro 2020 Qualifiers Preview, 18th November 7.45 pm

The window of opportunity for Ireland to reach Euro 2020 without having to deal with the stresses of the playoffs, is still open. To get there they have to win this home game. It doesn’t matter the score or margin, three points will send them through at the expense of Denmark. The Danes therefore only need to avoid defeat to hang in there. Read our Ireland vs Denmark betting tips for more.

Ireland vs Denmark Betting Odds*

Ireland 5/2
Draw 23/10
Denmark 11/10
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 15th, 2019 at 8:21 p.m.)

Ireland News and Form

It all boils down to this for the Irish who are sat on a W3 D3 L1 record. Their lone defeat in the group happened on a trip to Switzerland. The Irish start in third place in the group, three points behind Denmark and two behind Switzerland. Because of the Irish getting a draw in Denmark earlier in the campaign, three points in this one would see Irish move above the Danes on the head to head tiebreaker of points earned in the game between the two nations.

Ireland have struggled for goals in this campaign. They have only scored six of them and in no match have they managed to net more than one goal. Thankfully for them, their defence has been solid, conceding just four goals and earning four clean sheets in their seven games. The one consolidation for the Irish is that if things don’t work out, they are guaranteed a place in the playoffs. There may be a little payback on the minds of the Irish, as they lost 5-1 at home to Denmark in the second leg of their World Cup 2018 play-off tie.

The Irish have lost just one of their last nine games (competitive and friendly) and they warmed up for this one with a 3-1 home friendly win over New Zealand on Thursday. Ireland are undefeated in their last 13 European Championship home qualifiers, winning eight. They were on a five-match winning sequence in such fixtures before playing out a 1-1 draw against Switzerland in their last home qualifier in this group. Still, it is one goal conceded only in their last six such home games. In last year’s Nations League meeting the two games between Denmark and Ireland ended 0-0.

Ireland vs Denmark Head to Head

Each of the last three meetings have ended in a draw
Denmark are unbeaten in their last five against Ireland (W1 D4)
Both teams have scored in two of the last seven meetings
Ireland are W5 D8 L4 in the overall head to head

Denmark News and Form

Denmark only need a point and that is going to make them hard to beat on the night at the Aviva Stadium. It has been a very composed campaign by Denmark who are unbeaten in their seven games played in Group D. That is the size of the task ahead of Ireland on the night. The Danes have tallied 22 goals in their seven games as well, conceding only five. Out on the road in the group, they draw in Switzerland and Georgia, winning in Gibraltar.

Their failure to beat the Swiss and the Georgians should give Ireland hope. Denmark’s Christian Eriksen is the top scorer in the group with a tally of five goals. The Danes are undefeated in their last fourteen games (competitive and friendly) and they are on a five-match run of not conceding a goal. Denmark however, have won only one of their last six European Championship away qualifiers.

Ireland vs Denmark Tips & Odds

Under 2.5 goals at 4/6
Ireland-Draw Double Chance at 8/11
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 15th, 2019 at 8:21 p.m.)

Who will win – Ireland vs Denmark Predictions

It is going to be a tense night of action. Do Ireland have enough firepower to take down a very strong Denmark team? That’s the biggest question mark hanging over this one. They at least look good enough for a draw. Ireland-Draw Double Chance.

Moldova vs Iceland Prediction & Betting Tips, 17th November 2019

Euro Betting

Moldova vs Iceland Euro 2020 Qualifiers Preview, 17th November 7.45 pm

Moldova are bottom of Group H in the European Championship qualifiers. Iceland could only manage a draw against Turkey on Thursday night. That wasn’t enough for them as they had to get a win in that one to keep their automatic qualification hopes alive. Read our Moldova vs Iceland betting tips for more.

Moldova vs Iceland Betting Odds*

Moldova 7/1
Draw 7/2
Iceland 4/11
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 14th, 2019 at 6:12 p.m.)

Moldova News and Form

Moldova have banked three points in this qualification campaign and they are bottom of the pile, a point behind Andorra. The form of Moldova is non-existent. They are on a five-match losing streak in the group and they have conceded at least two goals in all but one of those. In three of their four home fixtures in the group, they have shipped exactly four goals. Moldova’s 1-0 home win over Andorra is their only win and it is the only time they have avoided defeat in their last ten international fixtures. Home and away Moldova have scored in just one of their last six competitive games now.

Moldova vs Iceland Head to Head

Iceland won the first group meeting 3-0
That was the first competitive meeting between the two nations

Iceland News and Form

Iceland needed to get a win in Turkey on Thursday night. They could not deliver it however as they were held to a 0-0 draw. That point wasn’t enough to allow them to overhaul Turkey in the final round of matches. So instead now Iceland will be turning to the playoffs. A place there is not guaranteed yet so they need to push for a good win on the road in this one to try and muscle their way in.

Iceland have a W5 D1 L3 record in this group, scoring a total of 12 goals in their 9 games. Out on the road, Iceland did have a 4-2 slip-up in Albania along with a 4-0 loss in France. Their one away win happened against Andorra. Iceland don’t have much away from doing for themselves as they have won just one of their last nine away games (competitive and friendly). In each of those nine road games, Iceland have either scored two goals exactly or zero. They have lost three of their last five European Championship away qualifiers as well (W1 D1).

Moldova vs Iceland Tips & Odds

Iceland to win by a 1 goal margin at 11/5
Under 2.5 goals at 4/5
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 14th, 2019 at 6:12 p.m.)

Who will win – Moldova vs Iceland Predictions

Iceland do have to battle and fight to try and get points on the board to try and secure a place in the qualification playoffs. That should be incentive enough for them and even though they aren’t in great away form at all, they have to pick off a very poor Moldova side. Away win

Bulgaria vs Czech Republic Prediction & Betting Tips, 17th November 2019

Euro Betting

Bulgaria vs Czech Republic Euro 2020 Qualifiers Preview, 17th November 5.00 pm

Bulgaria’s miserable campaign is almost at an end. A point will at least get them off the bottom of the table and they need to push for a win to try and reach the playoffs. They play host to the Czech Republic who passed a nervy test at home against Kosovo on Thursday to seal a place at Euro 2020. Read our Bulgaria vs the Czech Republic betting tips for more.

Bulgaria vs Czech Republic Betting Odds*

Bulgaria 10/3
Draw 11/4
Czech Republic 3/4
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 14th, 2019 at 6:12 p.m.)

Bulgaria News and Form

Bulgaria skipped competitive action on Thursday night, losing a home friendly against Paraguay. That was their sixth defeat in their last seven games now (competitive and friendly). Bulgaria have failed to hit the back of the net in any of their last three games played and have scored one in their last five. They have looked very poor and they are D3 L4 in this qualification campaign.

It has been just a total of five goals scored in their seven qualification matches. Bulgaria are winless in their last twelve fixtures, losing seven of those. Bulgaria have won only one of their last 12 European Championship home qualifiers. They have conceded a total of ten goals in their three home games in this qualification campaign.

Bulgaria vs Czech Republic Head to Head

The Czech Republic won the first group meeting 2-1
Bulgaria are winless in six previous games against the Czech Republic
The Czech Republic are W5 D1 in the overall head to head with Bulgaria
Both teams have scored in just two of the six previous meetings

Czech Republic News and Form

The Czech Republic hosted Kosovo on Thursday night. They fell behind in the second half of the game and had they have lost, automatic qualification would have been out of their hands. But they showed character in turning the game around to get a 2-1 win. The three points send them through to Euro 2020. The Czech Republic has a W5 L2 record in this campaign and won all their home games.

Away from home, they did suffer losses in England and Kosovo. But nothing matters to them in this one. A defeat won’t hurt them. The Czech Republic have lost three of their last six European Championship away qualifiers. They have conceded at least two goals in three of their last four qualifiers out on the road. But still, they are facing a very poor Bulgaria side here.

Bulgaria vs Czech Republic Tips & Odds

Away win at 3/4
Over 2.5 goals at 4/5
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 14th, 2019 at 6:12 p.m.)

Who will win – Bulgaria vs Czech Republic Predictions

Bulgaria have been shockingly poor in this campaign and there’s no reason to expect them to put in a big shift and collect a win in this one. The Czech Republic can relax and enjoy themselves and the away win his appeal.

Serbia vs Ukraine Prediction & Betting Tips, 17th November 2019

Euro Betting

Serbia vs Ukraine Euro 2020 Qualifiers Preview, 17th November 2.00pm

Serbia are still in with a chance of booking a spot at Euro 2020. It’s only a slim chance, however. They have to produce a home win over group winners Ukraine on the night and hope that Portugal somehow fails to get an away win in Luxembourg. Because of that, Serbia look as if they are going to have to reach Euro 2020 by the play off route instead. Read our Serbia vs Ukraine betting tips for more.

Serbia vs Ukraine Betting Odds*

Serbia Evens
Draw 5/2
Ukraine 9/4
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 14th, 2019 at 6:12 p.m.)

Serbia News and Form

It has been a case of so near yet so far for Serbia, unless something outlandish happens in the climax to Group B. Serbia took a 3-2 home win over Luxembourg on Thursday to at least keep their qualification hopes mathematically alive. They play host to Ukraine in Belgrade for their final fixture and with Ukraine having put together a very strong campaign, even Serbia getting a home win here is in doubt.

Serbia are on a four-match winning streak (competitive and friendly) and have won their last three qualifiers. On home soil in these qualifiers, they have taken a W2 L1 record, the one reverse happening against Portugal. All three of Serbia’s home games in this campaign have ended over 3.5 goals. Serbia have taken five wins in their last six home games (competitive and friendly) but will they get the better of Ukraine?

Serbia vs Ukraine Head to Head

Ukraine have won all three previous meetings with Serbia
Serbia have yet to score a goal against Ukraine
All three previous meetings have been held in Ukraine

Ukraine News and Form

Ukraine played out a 1-0 home friendly over Estonia on Thursday as they took a break from Euro 2020 qualification action. They have secured top spot in this group with room to spare. Ukraine are undefeated in their last ten games (competitive and friendly) so they are in great shape at the moment. In this qualification campaign, they have taken a W2 D1 record on the road, the draw happening in Portugal.

They are no slouches are Ukraine who have lost just one of their last nine European Championship away qualifiers. They are W3 D3 in their last six such fixtures. They don’t have anything riding on this game, but for a team which has conceded just two goals in their seven qualifiers, it’s hard to see them losing.

Serbia vs Ukraine Tips & Odds

Who will win – Serbia vs Ukraine Predictions

Serbia may not have the quality at the end of the day to break down the defence of Ukraine. The visitors have been unflappable in this campaign and even though they have nothing riding on it, they can avoid defeat. Draw.

Euro Betting

Albania vs France Euro 2020 Qualifiers Preview, 17th November 7.45pm

France are heading to Euro 2020 as expected and will likely get there as group winners. A win in Albania will guarantee that. It was a narrow home win that they took over Moldova on Thursday which got them there. Albania have been eliminated. Read our Albania vs France betting tips for more.

Albania vs France Betting Odds*

France 2/7
Draw 4/1
Albania 9/1
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 14th, 2019 at 6:12 p.m.)

Albania News and Form

Albania were held to a 2-2 home draw by Andorra on Thursday, a result which they probably will have been very disappointed by. They had won two home games in a row in qualification before that. But it does at least move them onto a three-match undefeated streak of home form in fixtures, Albania having scored at least two goals in each of those three games.

After scoring only one in their previous four home fixtures (competitive and friendly) that has been a surprising burst of scoring output. In European Championship home qualifiers, Albania are W3 D3 L3 in their last nine, so they are unpredictable. After failing to beat Andorra though, you wonder how they are going to hold out against France. Albania have conceded at least two goals in five of their last six home qualifiers.

Albania vs France Head to Head

France are W6 D1 L1 in the head to head with Albania
Albania won their last home meeting with France 1-0
France have won both competitive trips to Albania
None of the last five meetings have produced an away win

France News and Form

A late penalty by Olivier Giroud gave France a home win in midweek over Moldova. That moved them onto a six-match undefeated streak of form in the qualification group since their defeat in Turkey. It made Olivier Giroud top scorer in the group with six goals. Les Bleus are at the top of the group now after Turkey were held to a draw on Thursday by Iceland.

France and Turkey have locked in the top two spots, so this group is done and dusted. France have won three of their away qualifiers in this campaign, the one slip up happening in Turkey. In five of their last six away wins in European Championship qualification fixtures, France have scored at least two goals. They have earned back-to-back clean sheets on the road now in such fixtures.

Albania vs France Tips & Odds

France to win to nil at 10/11

* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 14th, 2019 at 6:12 p.m.)

Who will win – Albania vs France Predictions

Albania have been scoring pretty well on home soil lately, and it may be worth just backing them to get to half time level. France don’t need full intensity in this match, but they still look the more likely of the two to collect a win.

England 8/13

* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 14th, 2019 at 6:12 p.m.)

Kosovo News and Form

Kosovo took the lead out in the Czech Republic on Thursday night, needing a win to keep their qualification hopes alive until their final match. It wasn’t to be, however, as they couldn’t hold on and they lost 2-1. So they will miss out on the direct route to next summer’s finals but will be going to the play-offs. Kosovo have taken a W3 D2 L2 record in this campaign and they have remained unbeaten on home soil W3 D1.

Kosovo are undefeated in their last eleven home games (competitive and friendly) and they did put on a good show on their visit to England, losing 5-3. Even though nothing is hanging on this game, will they be able to take some massive confidence forward by taking a win over England? They did take a 2-1 home win over the Czech Republic earlier in the campaign, the Czech’s, of course, beating England in their home game against the Three Lions.

Kosovo vs England Head to Head

England won the first group meeting 5-3
That was the first meeting between the two nations

England News and Form

England moved on to a W6 L1 record in the group after taking a 7-0 win over Montenegro at Wembley on Thursday night. Harry Kane weighed in with a hat trick while Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham got his first international goal. Kane is up to 11 goals now in this qualification campaign. Raheem Sterling, who was dropped for the game, is expected to come back into the starting line up. Their tally against Montenegro moved England onto an average of over 4 goals per qualifier.

They have scored twelve goals in their three games out on the road. The Three Lions did concede in two of their three away games played so far, so it may be worth backing Kosovo to get on the scoresheet against them again. England have won eight of their last nine European Championship away qualifiers (L1). They have scored at least two goals in five of their last six.

Kosovo vs England Tips & Odds

England to win & both teams to score at 23/10

Who will win – Kosovo vs England Predictions

This should be another win in the bag for England, although Kosovo are not a bad home side at all. With both sides relaxed as nothing is riding on this, it’s worth expecting the goals to fly around and an England to win & both teams to score option looks very good.

Luxembourg have taken four points on the board in this qualification campaign. That has come by a W1 D1 L5 record in this campaign. On Thursday night they suffered a 3-2 loss out in Serbia. That moved them onto seven goals for the campaign, while they have conceded at an average of two goals per qualification fixture.

Five of their seven qualification fixtures have ended over 2.5 goals. Luxembourg are looking for their first win of 2019 having posted a D2 L7 record this year. They have taken a W2 L5 record in their last seven European Championship home qualifiers. They have scored in each of their last five such matches.

Luxembourg vs Portugal Head to Head

Luxembourg are W1 D1 L11 in the overall head to head with Portugal
Portugal are on a nine-match winning streak against Luxembourg
Luxembourg have scored in 1 of their last 9 against Portugal

Portugal News and Form

Portugal pounded Lithuania 6-0 on Thursday, Cristiano Ronaldo chipping in with a hattrick. That leaves him as the group top goalscorer. It has been a W4 D2 L1 record that they have taken in this campaign, scoring at an average of just under three goals per game. Their away record is W2 L1 with their loss happening in Ukraine. Each of Portugal’s three away games have made it over 2.5 goals.

Their loss in Ukraine snapped a run of six straight wins in European Championship away qualifiers. They have scored at least two goals in three of their last four and are on a seven-match scoring streak on the road in such fixtures. Austria vs North Macedonia Prediction & Betting Tips, 16th November 2019

Euro Betting

Austria vs North Macedonia Euro 2020 Qualifiers Preview, 16th November 7.45 pm

Group G is fascinating. Poland are more than likely to get one of the qualification spots, so that leaves four teams (of which Austria are one) to compete for the other one. A win in this fixture would get the Austrians to Euro 2020. North Macedonia need a win to pull within two points of them with one game to play. Read our Austria vs North Macedonia betting tips for more.

Austria vs North Macedonia Betting Odds*

Austria 1/4
Draw 17/4
North Macedonia 12/1
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 13th, 2019 at 3:33 p.m.)

Austria News and Form

Austria have taken a W5 D1 L2 record in this qualification group. They are top scorers in the section with 17 in total from their eight games played. They have taken a W3 L1 record on home soil in this campaign, the one reverse happening against leaders Poland. It’s been two clean sheets from them in their four home games. Given that their home output has been strong, they will expect to hold themselves together in this one.

Austria have put together an unbeaten six-match run in the qualifiers after a striking start in losing their opening two (W5 D1). The home record of Austria in European Championship home qualifiers is excellent. They have won seven of their last eight such matches (this campaign’s defeat against Poland the exception). In that sequence of eight home qualifiers, Poland have banked six clean sheets as well.

Austria vs North Macedonia Head to Head

Austria took a 4-1 win in the first meeting in this campaign
That was the first international between North Macedonia and Austria

North Macedonia News and Form

North Macedonia have some work to do in this one. With them absolutely needing a win, it does at least mean that they can turn up with single-minded intent. They need to throw everything that they have at this. It is a W3 D2 L3 record that they have taken in this campaign and out on the road, it is a W1 D2 L1 record that they have taken. Their one win happened out at the already-eliminated Latvia.

Their last qualifier saw them make a trip to Poland where they lost 2-0, which was after having secured excellent back to back successes over Latvia and Slovenia. North Macedonia have lost just one of their last five competitive away games on the road (W2 D2) but aside from their trip to Poland in this qualification campaign, they haven’t really faced anyone of note. Certainly not of Austria’s quality. North Macedonia have won only one of their last nine European Championship qualification away games.

Austria vs North Macedonia Tips & Odds

Austria to win to nil at 20/21
HT/FT Austria/Austria at 8/11
* (Betting Odds were taken from bet365 on November 13th, 2019 at 3:33 p.m.)

Who will win – Austria vs North Macedonia Predictions

North Macedonia are probably going to come up short of producing a famous night that they need out in Vienna. They have to push hard in his one but that is likely to leave them exposed at some point and they will probably be picked off. Home win.
