Montenegro v Czech Republic Euro 2020 Qualifying Preview, 10th September 7.45pm

The Czech Republic are struggling a little bit as well after suffering a shock defeat against Kosovo over the weekend. Read our Montenegro v Czech Republic betting tips for more.

Montenegro News and Form

Montenegro have been struggling for a bit of form. They have just one win in their last seven games played. That lone win was a friendly victory over Hungary in midweek. So they have been coming up a little short and with just two points on the board from four games of this qualification campaign, it’s not likely that they are going to be putting in an appearance at next summer’s Final.

Montenegro are winless in their last six European Championship qualification matches, and it is D2 L2 for them in this particular one. The two points they picked up were from 1-1 draws against Bulgaria and Kosovo. They have conceded at least three goals in three of their last five home fixtures in European Championship qualification.

Czech Republic News and Form

The Czech Republic were seen as the biggest challenger to England in this qualification group. They are struggling to get there though, with a W2 L2 record from their four games. Their first loss was their heavy 5-0 defeat at England, then on the weekend, they were beaten at Kosovo. So they are having their troubles on the road.

The Czech Republic start the next round of action trailing second-placed Kosovo by two points. It has been three fates in their last five away qualifiers that the Czech Republic have suffered (W2). Each of their last seven road fixtures in European Championship qualification matches have gone over 2.5 goals. With Kosovo playing England the same day, there is a decent chance of the Czech Republic taking over second place.

Who will win – Montenegro v Czech Republic Predictions

There doesn’t seem to be too much quality that is going to show up in this game. The Czech Republic are the one who need the points more so than Montenegro do. It has to be the away win for us in what is likely to be a low scoring fixture.

Czech Republic News and Form

The Czech Republic recorded a 2-1 home win over Bulgaria on Friday snapping back to back defeats which they had suffered. They opened their Euro 2020 qualification campaign with 5-0 drubbing at Wembley against England. They stepped out against Brazil in a friendly and lost. So the win over Bulgaria will have eased some pressure off them. It leaves them with a W4 L5 record in their last nine games, going back to the Nations League at the start of December.

The Czech Republic have been struggling for goals a bit. Just twice in their last nine games have they managed to score more than one goal in a match. So that’s a bit of a problem for them. They are also now without a clean sheet in any of their last three. Back in the Nations League the Czech Republic finished sandwiched between Ukraine and Slovakia in their group, but they only went W1 L1 in their two home fixtures. They are W2 L2 in their last four home fixtures.

Montenegro failed to score in both of those previous

Montenegro News and Form

It is a five-match winless streak of from that Montenegro are currently one, having picked up just two points from that sequence of games. They have collected a win in two of their last nine games played now. They have actually been scoring consistently recently. Montenegro have only failed to score in one of their last six fixtures now, which was a 1-0 loss against Romania in the Nations League.

The trouble for them is that their last clean sheet happened back on September 10th in a 2-0 win over Lithuania. That’s a seven-match sequence without one now. Both teams have scored in five of their last six played. With them having three games under their belt already, more than any of the top three in the group have played at the moment, to keep their qualification hopes up they need a win here. That would move them two points clear of the Czech Republic at the end of this international break.

Czech Republic v Montenegro Tips & Odds

The draw has a little bit of appeal in the match outright in this one. The Czech’s are lacking something in attacking quality and therefore there is a chance that the visitors could stick in there. The draw in the match outright looks a decent proposition.

England v Czech Republic Preview

England get one of their two toughest games in this Euro 2020 qualification group out of the way first of all. Things are looking positive for England at the moment on the back of their World Cup 2018 semi-final run and their group victory in the Nations League over Croatia and Spain. So there is plenty of optimism around the Three Lions at the moment. Boss Gareth Southgate called up more youth into the squad with Declan Rice and Callum Hudson-Odoi getting their first calls. England are undefeated in their last five games, winning four of those.

England have scored at least two goals in each of their last three international fixtures. They have banked a clean sheet in three of their last five as well. In their home games in the competitive Nations League fixtures, England suffered a 2-1 reverse against Spain before beating Croatia in their final group stage match at Wembley. England came from behind with goals from Jesse Lingard and Harry Kane in the last 12 minutes to give them the win they needed to top the group. England have lost one of their last 18 home internationals. They also completed qualification campaigns for Euro 2016 and the World Cup 2018 with perfect home records.

The Czech Republic last met England back in a 2008 friendly and that game ended in a 2-2 draw. Their previous meeting had been a decade earlier with England winning 2-0 at home in a friendly. In last year’s Nations League the Czech Republic finish second in their group behind Ukraine. In their away games they suffered a defeat in Ukraine and earned a one-goal margin win in Slovakia. The Czech Republic have taken three wins in their last five, but the two wins over Slovakia were only by a one-goal margin. Each of their last three games played have produced a 1-0 scoreline, with the Czech Republic winning two of those. The Czech Republic did struggle during World Cup 2018 qualification away from home, only managing to take victories at Azerbaijan and San Marino.

Who will win – England v Czech Republic Predictions

England should be comfortable at home in this opener, even if it’s against their strongest group opponents. England are in great shape on home soil and are likely to get out with a clean sheet too. Ukraine v Czech Republic UEFA Nations League Preview, 16th October 7.45pm

Ukraine News and Form

Ukraine are in great form at the moment and they played out a 1-1 draw with Italy last Wednesday in preparation for this Nations League return. They have not suffered a loss since a defeat against Croatia in the World Cup qualifiers back in October last year. They are W5 D3 in eight games since then. They are two wins from two in the Nations League B1 group. That was back to back one goal margin wins for them. Ukraine to win by a one-goal margin in this one is at 12/5 odds* (betting odds taken on October 14th, 2018 at 7:11 pm).

It is a trend well worth considering. In five of the last six wins that Ukraine have recorded (friendly and competitive) they have scored at least two goals in. So they have been producing quite well and we are going to back this one to go over 2.5 goals as well just as the first meeting between the two did. Ukraine beat Slovakia 1-0 in their second Nations League game.

Czech Republic News and Form

The Czech Republic are playing catch up then in this one. A win for them away from home would leave this interesting with them and Ukraine level on six points with one game each to play. The Czech Republic recovered from their defeat against Ukraine to post a narrow 2-1 win out at Slovakia in their second Nations League fixture. Sandwiched in between that was a 5-1 friendly defeat against Russia. Their win over Slovakia on the weekend sees them having posted a W7 L5 record in their last twelve games and it snapped a two-match losing streak.

So it’s not been too bad from them, but a lot of the games in that sequence were against sides they would expect to beat like China, Qatar and Australia so it’s a bit misleading. They don’t look all that sound defensively which is probably where they are going to fall down again in this one. Still, we are going to have a look at both teams to score at 11/10 odds* (betting odds taken on October 14th, 2018 at 7:11 pm) as they have netted in each of their last four games.

Ukraine v Czech Republic Head to Head

This will be the fourth meeting between the two nations. From the previous three, things are even with one win each and the one drawn match. Ukraine produced a 2-1 away win in the first meeting in this Nations League group. Those are their only goals against the Czech Republic.

Who will win – Ukraine v Czech Republic Predictions

We have to stick with Ukraine coming up with a victory in this one. They have been in great form for a long time now and having already taken a win over the Czech’s, they should complete the double back on home soil. Home win.

Northern Ireland v Czech Republic Prediction & Betting Tips – 4th September 2017

World Cup 2018 Betting

Northern Ireland v Czech Republic World Cup 2018 Qualifiers, 4th September

The Irish continued their fantastic progress in World Cup Qualifying on the weekend as they took a 3-0 win out in San Marino. That keeps them in second place in the group behind Germany, but more importantly, seven points ahead of third-place Czech Republic. This then is the big one for Northern Ireland as a draw in this one guarantees the Irish second place and therefore a place in the play offs. The Czech Republic suffered a home loss against Germany on the weekend. Northern Ireland are 6/4 for what would be a huge home win, with the draw at 12/5 and the Czech Republic 15/8.

Bet365’s 0-0 Bore Draw Insurance is available to take on all matches listed in their sportsbook. Place a pre-match correct score, scorecast or half-time/full-time wager on a match and if the game ends goalless then the bookmaker will refund lost stakes on the selected markets with a free bet. This applies to all matches in their sportsbook. Register an account with the award winning Bet365 and earn a 100% matched deposit bonus from them and enjoy other top features like each-way goalscorer odds, live streams and cash out options.

Northern Ireland v Czech Republic Betting Tips

This is a big moment for Northern Ireland then. They will be guaranteed a top two finish as long as they avoid defeat in this one. It’s unlikely at the end of the day that they will catch Germany, who they still have to play, so more likely than not, it is the play-off spot that they can lock in. Considering that they do still have to face Germany, the Irish will want to get this qualification settled on Monday. So far at home in the group, Northern Ireland have beaten Norway, Azerbaijan and San Marino, scoring 10 unanswered goals in all of those matches. Defensively they have been great with just the two goals conceded and under 2.5 goals at bet365 is trading at a price of 8/15 as this should be a very close battle. Northern Ireland have faced the Czech Republic five times before and they have failed to beat them (D3 L2). Earlier in the group, the Irish hung on for a very good 0-0 draw against them and the last three meetings between these two nations have ended in that scoreline.

A 0-0 draw in the bet365 correct score market fetches a price of 11/2 with only the 1-1 draw at 5/1 shorter. So can Northern Ireland get their point? Naturally scoring against the likes of San Marin and Azerbaijan is easier than breaking down the Czech Republic. In the anytime goalscorer market, Kyle Lafferty is a 23/1 option with Conor Washington at 3/1. With their win over San Marino on Friday, Northern Ireland won four games on the bounce for the first time in their history. This is going to be a tough battle as they look to qualify for their second successive major tournament. They are aiming for their first World Cup Finals appearance since 1986. Both teams not to score at bet365 in this one is a price of 4/6.

The Czech Republic have to turn up and produce a win. That will make them dangerous. They played pretty well in a 2-1 home loss against Germany in their last game and will carry a threat. They have only posted a W2 D3 L2 record in the group and out on their travels, they have gone W1 D1 L1 with their only success coming at San Marino. So it hasn’t been great from them, but they can throw the kitchen sink at this one. They may as well because there is nothing to lose. Jan Limit and Michal Krmencik are joint 13/5 outright favourites in the bet365 anytime goalscorer market for this one. The Czech Republic have gone just W2 D2 L2 in their last six games, and are winless in their last three. This is the night where they need a big performance.

Who will win – Northern Ireland v Czech Republic Predictions

Draw: Northern Ireland have grit and the Czech Republic aren’t so fantastic that the home side can’t grind out that point they need. Think back to the defining qualification match they played out at home against Hungary before Euro 2016. The crowd can help them across the line.

Czech Republic v Germany World Cup 2018 Qualifiers, 1st September

Germany are pretty much storming their way to Russia 2018 and they go into this one at the top of Group C, five points clear of second placed Northern Ireland. So they are coasting and this shouldn’t be too troublesome for them. The Czech Republic are in third place in the table but four points back of second place. So this could be a tough loss for them to swallow if they go down in this one. Germany are 8/15 favourites to win, with the draw at 17/5 and the Czech Republic a big 6/1 price.

Place a pre-match correct score, scorecast or half-time/full-time wager on a match and if the game ends goalless then Bet365 will refund lost stakes on the selected markets with a free bet through their great 0-0 bore draw insurance on matches. This applies to all matches in their sportsbook. Register an account with the award winning Bet365 and earn a 100% matched deposit bonus from them and enjoy top features like live sports streams, extensive live in play betting and partial cash out options on live bets.

Czech Republic v Germany Betting Tips

In order to keep their qualification hopes alive, the Czech Republic really need to win this one. They are four points out of second place in the group and are struggling and this is a tough game for them. They have already lost 3-0 against Germany in the group so far and a defeat in this one would pretty much put them out of the qualification picture. In the bet365 correct score market a Germany 1-0 and a Germany 2-0 are joint 6/1 favourite options for them and the Czech’s aren’t being given much of a chance in this one. At home, so far in the group they have played out 0-0 draws with Northern Ireland and Azerbaijan and edged a 2-1 win over Norway. So it’s certainly not been prolific stuff from them they have scored just the nine goals in the group, six of those coming in a win over San Marino.

Germany to win to nil has to be a great price option at 6/4 with bet365 for the game.Germany are on cruise control with a perfect record after six qualification games. They have scored 27 goals so far in the group and have conceded just the one. It’s all too easy for them and they hold a five point advantage at the top over second placed Northern Ireland. Out on the road, they have taken wins at Azerbaijan, Norway and San Marino, scoring at least three goals in each of them. Over 2.5 goals at bet365 is a quote of 4/5 and not a bad option to go with. Thomas Muller is top scorer in the group with five goals in six games and he is a 6/5 option in the anytime goalscorer market, making him the joint favourite with Lars Stindl and Mario Gomez, with Timo Werner at even money. Germany won 2-1 on their last visit to the Czech Republic, which was in Euro 2008 qualification.

Who will win – Czech Republic v Germany Predictions

Germany to win: It’s hard not to back the Germans in this one. They have been scoring for fun for the most part along the way and eased to a 3-0 victory over the Czech Republic earlier in the group. It’s worth backing them to win to nil again in this one.

Czech Republic v Portugal U19 Euro 2017 Prediction & Betting Tips – 5th July 2017

International Football Betting

Czech Republic v Portugal U19 Euro 2017, 5th July

This will be a showdown between the top two in Group A of the U19 European Championships. Both won their opening fixtures by one-goal margins and the winner of this one can drive themselves forward to the semi finals of the competition. So a big game to come and it is Portugal who are trading as 10/11 favourites for the match win, with the draw at 23/10 and the Czech Republic at 13/5.

One of the top football betting products around is Bet365’s 0-0 Bore Draw Insurance which they offer on all matches listed in their sportsbook. Czech Republic v Portugal Betting Tips

The Czech Republic took a 2-1 win over Sweden in their opening match of the tournament, with Daniel Turyna netting a brace in the match and so he will be one to look out for in live in-play betting when the game gets underway. The Czech’s are underdogs for this one so this could be a good chance for them to do a bit of damage limitation and stick in there for a draw in the match as that would keep them well on track for a place in the semis. That’s because they face outsiders Georgia in their final group stage match. So this one may be a little bit cagey and under 2.5 goals at bet365 in the match is a quote of 8/11 and that looks to be value. Up in the bet365 correct score market the 1-1 draw option is going to have appeal also at 11/2.

Portugal took out Georgia in their opening match thanks to a second half penalty from Rui Pedro. That was if for Portugal who went down to ten men in the match as well with Gelson Fernandes picking up a second yellow card. The Portuguese were a little nervy in their Elite group qualification to get to the tournament. During that, they suffered a 2-1 defeat against Croatia. So there is a need for them to dig in a little bit because the Czech’s look a decent dark horse threat for the entire tournament and the Portuguese need to up their output a bit but they will have seen good resilience from the Czech Republic who repelled a late surge from Sweden in their opener. Both teams to score at bet365 in the match is a price of 4/6. This could be a tight match.

U19 Euro 2017 Outright Winner Odds

Draw: The Czech Republic will know the importance of a draw in this one as they look for a place in the semi finals. Portugal don’t look a huge, huge threat at all and this one may just pan out for a draw.

Czech Republic v Denmark U21 Prediction & Betting Tips – 24th June 2017

International Football Betting

Czech Republic v Denmark U21 U21 Euro 2017, 24th June

The Czech Republic blew group C wide open in the second round of matches as they took down the strong Italy side. So that puts the Czech Republic right back in the running but if they can follow that up with a win against Denmark, who are already eliminated, it still won’t guarantee that they will win the group because Germany are three points clear of them. A win however, will increase their chances of making it through as the best second-placed team. The Czech Republic are 3/4 to win, with the draw at 14/5 and Denmark are at 7/2.

One of the top football betting products around is Bet365’s 0-0 Bore Draw Insurance which they offer on all matches listed in their sportsbook. Czech Republic v Denmark U21 Betting Tips

The Czech Republic, after having lost their opener against Germany gave themselves a huge lifeline as they pulled off a shock 3-1 victory over the Italians. That really came from nowhere, but now they are in a great position to try and drive through to the knockout stages. Only one best-placed runner-up from the group stage will join the three group winners in the semi finals and Germany aren’t likely going to be touched. The Czech Republic took a 2-1 win back in the Euro 2015 Group Stage over Denmark. The Czech Republic have lost just one of their five previous meetings with the Danes at this level so there is good cause for optimism. Back in qualification for the 2002 finals, the Czech Republic took back to back wins over the Danes as well, so they are in good form against them. The Czech Republic to win to nil at bet365 is a good price of 9/4. In the anytime goalscorer market, Patrik Schick is running as 11/10 outright favourite for this match.

The Czech’s will have the belief now especially against Denmark who are at the bottom of the group without a point and no goals on the board. So they are going home and they aren’t likely going to take this too seriously, which will help the Czech Republic’s cause. Even though no team in the finals conceded more goals in qualifying than the Czech Republic’s ten, their defence isn’t likely going to be troubled too much in this one. Denmark had a really good qualification campaign, winning nine of their ten games and conceded just the three goals along the way. But with back to back heavy defeats, they are out of the running. In the bet365 correct score market, a Czech Republic 1-0 win is going to have some appeal at a price of 15/2. They are without a goal then so far under 2.5 goals returns a decent price of 6/5.

Who will win – Czech Republic v Denmark U21 Predictions

The Czech Republic to win: The Czech’s impressed mightily against Italy and now with that win in their sails they can go out and beat Denmark, who will probably change things up anyway as they are heading home regardless.

Belgium v Czech Republic Prediction & Betting Tips – 5th June 2017

Belgium v Czech Republic International Friendly, 5th June

The Belgians suffered a blow on the weekend, as Eden Hazard fractured his ankle in training and will now miss their World Cup 2018 qualifiers against Estonia which is coming up after this game. Still, the Red Devils are a strong side but they will meet a Czech side who are going along pretty well at the moment. Belgium are 4/9 for the win, with the draw at 10/3 and the Czech Republic are at 6/1.

Belgium v Czech Republic Betting Tips

Belgium have been going well in World Cup 2018 qualifying, with 13 points from their five games played, leaving them top of Group H. So they are comfortable there on the road to Russia 2018 and they have produced a 3 D3 record in their last six games played, having drawn three of the last four. This is their warm up ahead of a World Cup qualifier out in Estonia on Friday so will they be hurt by the loss of Hazard? Probably not in these game as they have scoring power aplenty with Romelu Lukaku as 4/5 bet365 anytime goalscorer favourite for the game, with Christian Benteke at 13/10 and others sat at 6/4. They aren’t short of scoring power. It may be worth having a flutter under 2.5 goals at a price of 11/10 with bet365 for the game though as the last three meetings between these two nations have gone that way.

In the Bet365 correct score market, a Belgium 1-0 is the shortest priced option at 6/1, with a Czech Republic 1-0 at 18/1. The Czechs have won their last two friendlies against the Red Devils as well and they have lost just two of their last six against them (W3 D1 L2). So as this is just a friendly, this may be a tighter match than the odds suggest. The Czech Republic face Norway in their next World Cup 2018 qualifiers in Group C and going into the game, they sit third in their group, in a tussle with second-placed Northern Ireland and Azerbaijan who are just a point back of them. Germany lead the group by a country mile. The Czech’s have scored nine goals in their last two games and have netted in each of their last four and are unbeaten in five games played now (W3 D2). Both teams to score at bet365 is a price of 5/6.

Who will win – Belgium v Czech Republic Predictions

Draw: The Czech Republic have a bit of form going against Belgium and can stick in there for a point. Nothing to do with the absence of Hazard at all, but the Red Devils have drawn three of their last four games as it is and both will be looking ahead to far more important games on the weekend.

Germany v Czech Republic World Cup 2018 Qualifying, 8th October

As expected, Germany made a solid start to their World Cup 2018 qualification by beating Norway 3-0. This is a group which the Germans should win at a counter and it’s worth keeping track of this action as this is Northern Ireland’s group. Next up for Germany is the Czech Republic who were held to a 0-0 draw at home in their qualifying opener against the Irish. So Germany won’t be too worried about facing up to them you would imagine and Die Mannschaft are likely to make it two from two in the group. Germany are 1/5 for the win, with the draw at 11/2 and the Czech Republic at 12/1.

Germany v Czech Republic Betting Tips

Germany made light work of Norway with a 3-0 victory in their opening World Cup 2018 qualifying match and that was out on the road. So a hugely positive marker laid down by them and the challenges aren’t going to get a lot tougher for them in the group really. They host the Czech Republic on the weekend and this is expected to be just as easy for Die Mannschaft. The Germans have won their two matches played this season to nil, beating Finland in a friendly and then the Norwegians to start World Cup 2018 qualifying. Germany have gone W6 D2 L1 in their last nine games, the only defeat there coming against France in summer’s European Championships. Other than that it has largely been business as usual from them.

They aren’t overly solid at the back it has to be said but the chances of the Czech Republic striking in the match are slim. Both teams to not score in the match for example is an odds on quote of 8/13. In the anytime goalscorer market for the match you have scoring matching Thomas Muller running at 4/5 to hit the back of the net, with Mario Gotze and Kevin Volland at 11/10. Germany should be able to make the breakthrough in this one and they are a price of 3/1 to win by a two goal margin in the match which looks around the right mark. A Germany 2-0 correct score will pick you up a price of 5/1 while simply backing Germany to win to nil will return you a quote of 4/5 which looks good value. Over 2.5 goals in the game returns 8/15 but if you are expecting the Germans to win to nil then you are looking at under 2.5 goals for 7/5.

So the Czech Republic couldn’t find a way to break Northern Ireland’s defence in their 0-0 draw, but interestingly, they did win their last visit to Germany. They recently won their in Euro 2008 qualification match there and before that beat Germany in the Euro 2004 finals, as they took a 2-1 win over the Die Mannschaft there as well. The overall head to head is lead by Germany though with a W4 D0 L2 record. The Czech Republic have scored in five of their six previous matches against the Germans. They don’t though have the look of a free-scoring side at the moment though and they aren’t in terrific form with a W 1 D2 L3 record over their last six matches. They have also failed to score in three of their last five games played as well, so they aren’t quite there at the moment.

Who will win – Germany v Czech Republic Predictions

Not the most challenging of games for the Germans here and they should be able to coast to a good three points. They have the extra quality in them to run out winners by a couple of goals in this one, so look for the win by a two goal margin, which looks about right. Even though the Czechs’ have scored against Germany in each of the last five, they aren’t a force at the moment and German to win to nil should be considered.
