Spain v Morocco Prediction & Betting Tips – World Cup 201825th June 2018 / lee
Spain v Morocco World Cup 2018, 25th June – 7.00 p.m
It hasn’t been the greatest showing from Spain so far at the tournament but they have landed back to back wins and now they are in a fight for top spot in their final round of matches. Spain have to better whatever Portugal manage in their final group game to get top spot and that includes goal difference. Morocco have suffered back to back defeats in the group but were competitive against Portugal in their second match.

Spain v Morocco Betting Tips
Spain not only have to ensure they win this but with a good goal difference to hold the top spot in case Portugal beat Iran in their final game. So there is going to be an exciting conclusion to this group between the two sides who were always heavily favoured to get through. Spain found Iran a much tougher nut to crack in their second group stage match than they had anticipated and the Iranians had their chances to grab a draw. But Spain edged their way through thanks to another goal from Diego Costa who now has three from two games. Diego Costa is a good option for the anytime goalscorer market for this one.
Morocco have not been great in the final third and for our Spain v Morocco betting tips we have to roll with a Spain to win to nil option at 20/21 odds* (Betting Odds were taken from June 22nd, 2018 at 7:43 p.m.). Spain’s last two wins have been 1-0 result but you would imagine that they could push on a little more and the Spain 2-0 correct score option at 5/1 odds* (Betting Odds were taken from June 22nd, 2018 at 7:43 p.m.) appeals more for the game. Spain have enjoyed some good possession in this world cup, and have created plenty of chances. We fully expect them to follow through for another win here against a Moroccan side who are already eliminated.
Morocco are without a point so far sat at the bottom of Group B and they will probably end up there. After losing their opener against Iran in stoppage time, they produced a good performance to really throw down a challenge to Portugal in their second fixture. Frankly, they have been very wasteful in the final third of the pitch and that is where their downfall has been. They had some good chances to get something against Portugal and in the first half of their game against Iran, they were fully on top. They just could not deliver when it mattered.
They are not going to get their foot on the ball much in this one and therefore we have to go with both teams not to score at 5/4 odds* (Betting Odds were taken from June 22nd, 2018 at 7:43 p.m.). They just don’t look a big enough threat and with them having already been eliminated it’s hard to imagine that they will be totally committed and could even shuffle their pack now. Even if they were to pull out a shock win her it wouldn’t likely see them avoid the wooden spoon. Morocco’s form in their last six games is W3 D1 L2, and they don’t have a clean sheet in any of their last four.

Who will win – Spain v Morocco Predictions
Morocco’s interest in the tournament is over but they did pretty well against Portugal and maybe deserved a draw. However, Spain are going to have them on the back foot more than Portugal did and we can see the Spaniards getting across the line with a win to nil.
