Poland U21 v Sweden U21 – U21 Euros, 19th June
Host nation Poland were dealt a big blow as they blew a lead against Slovakia in their opener. So now they have to dig deep and come up with some kind of response to that, which isn’t going to be easy against the Swedes. Sweden looked average at best in their opener against England but really should have won the game. Sweden are favourites for the win at a price of 6/4 with the draw at 9/4 and Poland at 15/8.

Poland U21 v Sweden U21 Betting Tips
So hosts Poland find themselves in a spot of bother then, having lost their opener. Despite taking a lead in their match against Slovakia, for which they were favourites, the Poles suffered a 2-1 loss. But even with that, they looked a lot better than what Sweden did in their goalless draw with England. But Poland needs a response here and have to put a win on the board. They have a W4 L3 record against the Swedes so there hasn’t been much between the two of them really in past UEFA European Under 21 Champions meetings. This will be their 11th meeting overall, with the four wins for Poland, three draws and three wins for Sweden. They have never actually met in the Finals though, only in qualification. They shared home wins in their most recent clashes in 2015 qualification. So this should be tight but over 2.5 goals at bet365 has appeal.
In the anytime goalscorer market, Poland’s Mariusz Stepinski is the outright favourite at 7/4 and for Sweden, they have Carlos Strandberg at 9/4. Sweden are the reigning U21 champions of course despite only finishing their group in second place. They don’t’ have a bad track record in the competition at all really but they are going to have to do a lot better than their performance against England. They were the better of the two sides, which isn’t saying much, but how costly will that failed penalty kick be for them at the end of the day against England? A win in this one eliminates Poland and would keep Sweden’s qualification hopes alive. It’s a game they both need to win and both teams to score at bet365 is a quote of 4/5. It’s going to be a big night for the hosts in Lublin on Monday.
Who will win – Poland U21 v Sweden U21 Predictions
Poland to win: Sweden were a little underwhelming it has to be said in their opener and Poland played with enough gusto to suggest that they can get the win that they so badly need in this one.
