Newcastle v Stoke Premier League, 16th September 3.00pm
Out of nowhere, the Magpies have found a bit of form with back to back victories on the board in the top flight. But they will face a Stoke side who have now taken four points from their big games against Arsenal and Manchester United this season. Even though they are a hard side to predict, they will show up on Tyneside and be prepared to dig in for a big battle with the home side. Newcastle are 5/4 on home soil for the victory with the Draw at 9/4 and Stoke at 11/5.

Newcastle v Stoke Betting Tips
The Magpies will feel a little less pressure after back to back wins in the Premier League. They took clean sheet victories over West Ham and Swansea to give themselves a good points haul which has gotten them over their hump of back to back defeats to start the season with. Newcastle to win to nil at bet365 is a price of 11/4. Obviously, their wins haven’t been against high-quality opposition so far so the Magpies still have a lot to prove. The last two games between Newcastle and Stoke at St James Park have both ended in a draw. The last meeting there was in 2016 in the Premier League and a 0-0 draw was played out. In the bet365 correct score market, a 0-0 draw is trading at a price of 8/1, with the 1-1 at 11/2. This is probably going to be a low scoring affair, as Stoke know how to battle away for points and Newcastle will get a tough game. Dwight Gayle is 11/8 in the anytime goalscorer market for them with Mato Joselu at 9/4.
Newcastle have posted a W1 L1 record at home so far this season in the league. As for Stoke, they have posted one point from their two away games so far. They lost at Everton on the opening weekend and then earned a lucky point at West Brom. But in between all of that, at home, they have beaten Arsenal and drawn with Manchester United. So you are not sure what to get from them really. They don’t look like being a high-scoring side this season but with them going unbeaten in their last three games, they don’t look like losing. A Stoke Draw No Bet returns a price of 6/5 at bet365 for the game and you can pick up a 4/6 price on a Stoke-Draw double chance if you fancy them to get something out of the game. The Potters have scored in three of their last four visits to Tyneside and you have a price of 10/11 on both teams to score at bet365. In the anytime goalscorer market as options for the visitors, two-goal hero from last weekend, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is an 11/4 price to get on the scoresheet, the same price as Jese.
Who will win – Newcastle v Stoke Predictions
Draw: Newcastle’s wins over Swansea and West Ham doesn’t tell us too much about them and they could struggle to break down a solid and tough Stoke side. The Potters do lack a scoring threat, but they will be confident of getting back home with at least a point in the bag here. Back the draw.
