Manchester United News and Form

Will Manchester United find their winning touch again in this home fixture? They are sat on a W1 D2 L1 record this season in the top flight, unable to add another victory to their big 4-0 home success over Chelsea on the opening weekend. They crashed to a shock 2-1 home loss against Crystal Palace in their second game at Old Trafford. That was sandwiched between 1-1 away draws at Wolves and Southampton.

United have opened the scoring in three of their four league games this season. They have been leading at the halftime break in three of four as well. Daniel James has scored in his last two games, actually scoring United last two league goals, period. There seems to be a lack of control in the middle of the park and their defence leaking goals is going to be a big concern. The Red Devils have no clean sheet in three. Four of their five home goals scored this season has been in the second half.

Manchester United v Leicester Head to Head

Manchester United took two one-goal margin wins over Leicester Last season
Leicester are winless in nine Premier League games against the Red Devils
Man Utd have won their last three EPL home games against the Foxes
Five of the last seven meetings in all competitions have gone over 2.5 goals

Leicester News and Form

Leicester are just one of three teams in the top flight who are heading back into action with an unbeaten record for the season (Man City and Liverpool). The Foxes start the weekend in third place thanks to a solid W2 D2 record to kick things off with. They drew their opening two games, but then they have stepped it up with wins over Sheffield United and Bournemouth. Naturally, there are going to be tougher games to come, like this one. But they look a confident bunch at the moment do the Foxes.

Jamie Vardy is looking sharp all of a sudden having scored the opening goal in Leicester’s last two league games. Vardy‚Äôs total is three in the last two. The Foxes have lost just one of their last six away games in the top-flight (W3 D2 L1). Leicester did lose four of their six away games against the top six last season (W1 D1) so will be looking for improvement there. One of their away games this season was a trip to Stamford Bridge where they collected 1-1 draw but had chances enough to have won it in the second half.

Who will win – Manchester United v Leicester Predictions

Leicester look more than good enough to handle a trip to Old Trafford. United have already shown some vulnerabilities and they are going to get a good workout in this home fixture. Back the Foxes to go and avoid defeat. Draw.
