Liverpool v Arsenal Betting Preview
It’s going to be a testing start to February for Arsenal, who face Man United in midweek after their trip to Anfield. Liverpool are still in the scrap for a top four finish, and three points against the league leaders on the weekend would give them a huge boost there. Will home turf be enough to be the deciding factor here?

Liverpool v Arsenal Betting Tips:
The Reds go into the match trailing leaders Arsenal by now what looks like a big eight points. That can be cut down to five if they can grab themselves a win here. The Reds certainly have produced the home form this season to suggest that they can do so, having posted a W10 D1 L1 record. Thave have won seven of their last eight, the other being the recent draw against Aston Villa. So they will certainly have their backers in this one. Naturally Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge are big options in the anytime goalscorer market, with Suarez at Evens and Sturridge at good 5/4 value. Interestingly though, the two strikers have played eleven times together this season in the top flight, and the only side to stop them both scoring has been Arsenal, the Gunners winning 2-0 at the Emirates earlier in the season.
The Reds have scored sixteen goals in their last six matches in all competitions, including that big 4-0 home win over Everton on their last outing at Anfield. However, Liverpool have failed to post a home win over Arsenal in their last five now, their last win at Anfield over the Gunners coming back in the 2008 Champions League. This match certainly does have the look of goals in it and you can go over 2.5 goals for a price of 4/7 with Ladbrokes. So there are positives there for Liverpool, but Arsenal haven’t been slouches away from home this season, winning eight, drawing two and losing two. That’s been a pretty big return from them, and still punters are having a hard time seeing them win the Premier League. This is a massive test now for them and they’ll need confidence to take forward to the Man United game during the week. The Gunners are eight matches unbeaten now in the top flight.
While their performance level perhaps have dropped a little lately, having taken a 2-2 draw at Southampton and just a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, they are finding ways to keep going. Main striker Olivier Giroud looked terribly leggy against Palace and is going to need a lot of support. Still, not a bad shout at 6/4 at the end of the day in the Anytime Goalscorer market. Arsenal have won three and drawn one of their last four played against Liverpool, and in each of those last four games, they have scored exactly two goals, and have kept two clean sheets in them. Their away form really suggests that they aren’t going to pushed out of three points easily here, and this game could be a big momentum changer in their season.
Really tough to split these two. Arsenal really need to prove themselves on the road after having already dropped points at Man City and Man Utd. They should be good enough for a draw, while the same can be said of Liverpool. This game screams Draw No Bet and Arsenal at 6/4 may produce some value.
