Iceland News and Form
Iceland are still in the qualification picture and a win in this fixture will draw them level with France, which would be huge with only three games to play afterwards. Iceland were blown away in a 4-0 loss when they made the trip to Paris earlier in the campaign. It means that Iceland would have to better that margin of victory, (which is highly unlikely) to move ahead of France on the tie-breaker. But at least three points would leave them in good shape, regardless.
Iceland are W4 L2 in their campaign so far, their other loss happening against Albania away from home. Iceland have a very good record of form at home in European Championship qualifiers. They are undefeated in their last eight such matches, winning six of those. Iceland are on a three-match winning streak at home in Euro qualifiers. During that eight-match stretch, they have beaten the likes of Turkey, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. Can they do it against France?
Iceland v France Head to Head
Each of the last five meetings have ended over 3.5 goals

France News and Form
France’s one slip in the qualification group happened against Turkey, who they still have to meet again during the run-in. France have won their other five matches, in qualification. In total, Les Bleus have racked up 19 goals, conceding 4 in their campaign. A win here will leave them comfortably in line to secure a place at Euro 2020. France though haven’t delivered a great deal of form out on their travels recently.
They are W2 D1 L2 in their five matches away from home since the end of the World Cup 2018. failed to score in three of those four games as well. The two wins that they collected in that sequence of away games, they scored exactly four goals in, against Moldova and Andorra. France though have only suffered one loss in their last eight Euro qualifier away games, winning half of those fixtures. Over 3.5 goals has happened in all but two of France’s qualifiers.

Who will win – Iceland v France Predictions
This may well be a high-scoring game because you would imagine that Iceland are going to create some direct chances against the French. They did in Paris but just couldn’t convert.
