Crystal Palace v Bournemouth Premier League, 2nd February
The Eagles are on a four match losing streak, quite a bad slump from them and has taken a bit of shine off their otherwise good season. With an FA Cup home win over Stoke on the weekend, will that help restore some confidence and get them back to winning ways in the Premier League? You have to score goals to do that, something the Eagles haven’t done much of of late. Bournemouth have lost just two of their last eleven in the top flight and could be next in line to clip the wings of the Eagles. Crystal Palace are 5/4 to take the win, with the draw at 9/4 and Bournemouth also at 9/4.

Crystal Palace v Bournemouth Betting Tips
It’s been awhile since the Eagles have hosted the Cherries then. The last time they came together in London was back in March 1989 when the Eagles lost 3-2. Anyway, so it is a six match winless streak for Crystal Palace in the top flight and four consecutive defeats for ALan Pardew’s men. Not great but they took a home win over Stoke on the weekend in the FA Cup to perhaps restore a bit of confidence. The Eagles have taken just one point in their last three league games against Bournemouth and you have to look at their lack of scoring. Crystal Palace have scored one goal in their last six Premier League matches in total (and that was courtesy of an own goal by Spurs). A terrible return for them and they have desperately brought in Emmanuel Adebayor to try and solve that issue.
The former Spurs striker has netted on his debut for each of his last three clubs so may be worth an anytime goalscorer punt. The last time that Palace lost five games in a row in the Premier League was back in November 2013 when they went on a seven match losing streak. They have lost their last two at Selhurst Park in the top flight, tough games against Chelsea and Tottenham, conceding three goals in each. It may be worth fluttering the game to go under 2.5 goals though which is a price of 5/6 with online betting site Bet365. Palace aren’t scoring and Bournemouth have scored just one goal in their last three road games. Palace have been drawing at half time in eight of their twelve home matches in the Premier League so it’s well worth having a crack at a half time draw which would fetch around even money.
Bournemouth are in decent form, with just two defeats in their last six on the road in the Premier League (W2 D3 L1). They have lost just two of their last eleven league games (home and away) as well, so they are doing alright. They have won just one of their last six played though (W1 D3 L2) so they aren’t necessarily big value for a win, but should be able to get a draw at Selhurst Park. The Cherries have drawn three of their last six away games in the top flight. Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last three games against Palace, but of course you are talking about matches from the 1980’s so nothing really to look at. The Cherries banked a 2-1 away win at Portsmouth in the FA Cup on Saturday.
Who will win – Crystal Palace v Bournemouth Predictions
Hard to see a winner emerging from the game at Selhurst Park. Both are alright getting forward, neither are partially great at producing that big of quality in and around the penalty area. So look for a low scoring game and a draw has to be at the front of the mind for betting on this one.
