Read our expert review of Fansbet and the assessment of Paddy Power in all key aspects of online bookmakers
that are essential for a modern, professional and sound online football betting bookmaker.
That includes betting markets offered, odds, their website, in-play (live) betting opportunities, quality of
customer service and promotions.
Fansbet started their online operations in 2016 and their main focal point is on sharing. Their big angle in the market is in that they share half of their net profits directly with supporters. That is operated through a Fan Partner scheme where punters select the organization with which to share. So it is that platform which makes Fansbet stand out, creating a bond with fans and organizations which they can directly support.
Fansbet Review & Ratings
How does Fansbet stand up with their odds against other bookmakers? We compared their odds on an FA Cup Final to some of the major bookmakers of the industry. The underdogs for the match were Watford and the day before the match they were backable at 11/1 or 12/1 depending on where we looked. At Fansbet they were at the 11/1 mark, so the Fansbet odds stood up pretty well on that occasion. The longer odds were only available at a few other operators at the time. A quick look at a tennis comparison had Rafael Nadal at 7/5 to win the French Open that year, where some of the industry heavyweights had him at 5/4 and 11/8.

For some punters, it can be highly important to have a bounty of different markets available at a bookmaker. Fansbet delivered pretty well in this area and the variety of the sportsbook makes it a well-rounded product. But then the main staples of the sportsbook are generally the likes of the big money-makers like football, tennis and golf.
Fansbet do offer horse racing markets and there are both UK & Ireland and International options available for that, as well. So that will tick a lot of boxes for punters. For those looking for sports from further flung corners of the world like NFL and Ice Hockey for example, will find themselves covered as well.
The international opportunities through the different markets was pretty good. The perfect example of that was football, where there were options from the USA, UAE and a great deal of South American competitions as well. So all in all, it was very good. We did enjoy the amount of depth in markets for a given football match. We dipped into an English League One fixture and found over 80 markets available.

The Fansbet website does operate pretty quickly and it is relatively well laid out as well. The theme of the website is white text on a black background, with the key market menus are highlighted in green. What works for the site is the layout because it is not cluttered. The sportsbook is accessed from the top menu, where you switch between different sections like in-play and casino. There is also a Fantasy section for punters.
The sportsbook itself is driven by a left-hand menu. There you will find a few of the most popular bets going on, or you can navigate and browse around by expanding the different sections of it. The main section of the page lists the odds of a given event or match and this is really clear and well laid out for the most part. A slight niggle would be that the Market Headers blend into the match odds, so they don't particularly stand out that well.
You can 'favourite' markets of your choice and then there is the Bet Slip itself. It is a really good betting slip in terms of clarity and operation. It wasn't dynamic in that it moved when we collapsed the screen to half size. It stayed out of sight so it could only bed operated full screen. But the options in the bet slip are presented and you can tinker around in there with your multiples.

In-Play Betting at Fansbet
In-play betting is such a huge factor of online betting these days and so it is worth taking a look at. Fansbet's range of in-play options can all be brought up by the top menu. This loads the entire in-play section that is available. Across the top of the page, you will then see all the different sports so you can switch between them.
That's actually really well presented and in terms of coverage, late into the evening we found plenty of live options on different sports like football, tennis, beach volleyball, handball and table tennis. So, in summary, there was extensive in-play coverage available. Depending on the football match in question, we found anywhere between 30 and 70 in-play markets for an individual soccer fixture. The live in-play section did perhaps fall a little short in terms of stats back-up.

Fansbet Customer Service
There is a Help Center available from the top right of the website. Immediately you will see that support is available 24/7 and that is through a live chat. You can also click an option to send them a direct email with any support questions.
The button to access a live chat sits in the bottom right of the website wherever you go. There is, of course, the standard knowledge base which covers everything from registration, security, financial and technical sections. The one that we did find missing from the Fansbet customer service was a direct telephone number.

Fansbet Free Bets & Promotions
Fansbet really steps up to the plate with their promotions and knocks it out of the park. One of the top promotions we saw there was their Fan Boost section which is where the operator offers a wide range of enhanced odds. This is actually a really good section because it's not just the odd random price boost.
You are able to find odds boosts on a wealth of different sports including Fan Partner Specials. It's really a wonderful extensive promotion and it means that it should be one of the first stops on a visit to Fansbet. Other promotions that they had available were Acca Boosts, Jackpot prizes, Horse Racing specials and their new customer bonus.
Their new customers deal is a Bet £10 get £10 Free affair. Just make a 1st deposit with them to claim a £10 wager free bonus. New Customers only. Minimum deposit £10 (no Skrill/Neteller). Deposit must be wagered 1x at 1/2 (1.5) odds or higher (bonus is wager free). 18+ T&C apply. Please Gamble Responsibly. See details directly at Fansbet.

Summary of the Paddy Power Ratings Review
Fansbet are a relatively new face on the scene of things. But there are some aspects which they do really well and deliver a great service in. The promotions on the website that we looked at were strong and would be a big appeal to players. They stood up fairly well in their odds and there is the feel of a well-rounded product.
The sportsbook and the market variety within it is good and the fact that it delivers horse racing as well is a huge plus. It is a solid platform and the fact that they track your bets and share their net profits the selected organisations that fans pick out, it is a nice little touch. All in all, there is plenty to enjoy at Fansbet.
