Comeon

Introduction

ComeOn is a newer bookmaker out there and therefore they haven’t built up as big of a reputation as some of the more established operators of course. That takes time and quality to build a reputation. They have a bigger reputation perhaps for their more established casino products, but they are running a decent sportsbook which will give them a great base to work from in order to build their reputation further. That is because it s pretty solid sportsbook although on the more basic side of things.

Comeon Review & Ratings

Comeon Odds

First and foremost pruners will want to know what the odds are like at ComeOn, a relatively new bookmark. Well they aren’t bad, but they aren’t great, sat around the average market prices really. Some of the more popular markets we noticed were running with slightly higher than average betting margins, but overall averaged out a decent figure of around 5.5% in the sportsbook, which isn’t bad. But again, it’s not the best value that you can get out there. So you are not looking at specular value with them but you aren’t really going to be lose out really as a casual punter there with the actual odds on offer because they aren’t really all that bad.

SCORE: 6 (out of 10)
3 stars rating

Markets

We did find that the sportsbook wasn’t overly extensive either. There is no horse racing markets on the website, which may detract punters, but the top markets like football, tennis and golf are all covered pretty well. There is clearly a bigger focus on the major markets than really trying to spread themselves thinly and encompass a lot of niche betting markets. That having been said there are niche markets there, but the depth of coverage within them really isn’t anything to write home about. We have seen more at other bookmakers. Basically if your big betting focus is the big markets, then you won’t really miss a beat.

Website

The website has a nice design and actually a really nice feel about it. It is very inviting and it is easy to get around because things are pretty organised. We wished there was a little more on offer on the homepage so that there wasn’t so much need to go digging through the sportsbook to find markets though. The site does appear to run pretty quickly, but there are features missing to take it to the next level like cash out and live streaming. There is a kind of ethos and feel about ComeOn that is simple, they appear to directly be keeping things simple to have appeal to customers from that perspective, and it works in offering an inviting, user-friendly website to use. Basically what we found is that because there really isn’t a great deal going on in the site then things are easily and well organised there.

In-Play Betting at Comeon

You do have live in play betting available at Come On and on the homepage there are links to some of the live action that is going on. The inplay section is nice and one huge plus about their inplay service is that you can switch easily between the regular view or an Asian view which is where you will find Asian Handicap betting, which is a highly valuable product for some punters. That’s a big selling point of their live in-play betting service. The graphical representation of what is going on in a live event is pretty simple, but effective and there is a decent filter so that you can narrow down the markets that you are looking at. Market depth is fine, just about what you would expect from anywhere else really. Pretty standard stuff.

SCORE: 7 (out of 10)
3.5 stars rating

Comeon Customer Service

There is a live chat portal on the website and they seem to want to push you towards that as a first point of contact. So that is actually a decent service to have a look at. But they also offer email support by simply filing out an online form. There is a good FAQ section on there but the one big missing thing is that there is no telephone support at all. That’s why they want you to do the live chat on the site and that doesn’t run 24/7.

3 stars rating

Comeon Free Bets & Promotions

We have noticed with a lot of the newer bookmakers that online promotions are a little hard to come by. The big staple of their promotional value is their Survivor product where you after having placed one qualifying bet you have to survive for as long as you can to the end of the month by repeating a bet on a daily basis. If you can last the three weeks in the promotional period doing that, then you will get a share of free bets. There is a Bet £10, Get £10 free bet welcome offer on offer when you open an account with them. That maximum value that you can take from that is a free £10 bet. It’s a pushy promotion which basically needs you to bet frequently which may not be up everybody’s street.

Summary of the Comeon Ratings Review

Well the overall rating is only going to be average because that is the overall feel that you get at ComeOn. You have to remember that they are a relatively new player in the industry and it is going to take time and heavy investment to really round things out to climb up the ladder. It’s not a bad entry at all from them, but there is just things that can be built on to make it better and stand out a little bit more.
