West Ham v Portsmouth English Championship
September 10, 2011 - Kick Off 15.00 GMT
West Ham United have enjoyed a strong start to life back in the Championship, winning three, drawing one and losing one of their five opening games. The trio of victories came on the road, the latest of which was a 4-1 win at Nottingham Forest and manager Sam Allardyce will now look for the Hammers to break their duck at Upton Park.
With the squad assembled, home victories should now start to come, with Sam Baldock and David Bentley adding to the long list of new faces at the club. They should have won both matches against Cardiff and Leeds, with Portsmouth unlikely to withstand the Hammers attack, despite draws at Middlesbrough and Bristol City.
