West Ham v Barnsley FA Cup
January 8th, 2011 - Kick Off 15.00 GMT
West Ham United are finally out of the Premier League relegation zone and Avram Grant will be hoping to continue that winning feeling when the Hammers line up in the FA Cup this weekend. This is a competition where Grant enjoyed great success last season, steering relegated Portsmouth all the way to the final and to the verge of greatness. This time around, he has already helped his currently club to the semi-finals of the Carling Cup, which included a 4-0 win over Manchester United.
Barnsley are a decent enough Championship team, although it‘s questionable as to whether they will be able to live with a Hammers team full of confidence. Mark Robins‘ team did recently land a creditable 2-2 draw at Nottingham Forest and will go into the match at Upton Park with very little to lose. However, the Tykes have lost six of their eleven away matches in the Championship this season.
