Middlesbrough v Millwall English Championship
November 20, 2010 - Kick off 15.00 GMT
Middlesbrough are slowly turning the corner under Tony Mowbray, who is trying to repair the damage caused by predecessor Gordon Strachan. The latter‘s policy of signing many Scottish players appears not to have worked and the manager is likely to make several changes in January with the current campaign all about survival in the Championship. Wins over Crystal Palace and Scunthorpe ensure that Boro are out of the relegation zone and they should continue their good work against a Lions team struggling to survive.
Millwall had a blinding start to the campaign after wins over Bristol City and Hull, although the wins have quickly started to dry up for Kenny Jackett‘s team and it should be remembered that the visitors only got promoted through the play-offs last term. It has now been four games without a win and just two goals have been scored in those matches, with Steve Morison not someone who can score all on his own.
