Southampton v Peterborough English League One
November 20, 2010 - Kick off 15.00 GMT
Southampton were strong favourites to win League One at the start of the season, although it has been an uphill struggle for the Saints after a shaky start which saw Alan Pardew relieved of his managerial duties. It then took several weeks for the board to appoint Nigel Adkins, although the former Scunthorpe manager appears to be steering the team in the right direction, especially at St Mary‘s where they have won the past five matches.
The Hampshire side should therefore be too strong for Peterborough, with only one point separating them in the table and Posh coming off the receiving end of a 5-1 hammering at home by Charlton. Indeed, the defence has been leaking goals for several weeks now, with Gary Johnson‘s team last keeping a clean sheet at the beginning of October.
