Burnley v Bristol City English Championship
September 25, 2010 - Kick off 15.00 GMT
There was a raucous atmosphere at Turf Moor on Tuesday night as the supporters saw the Clarets beat Owen Coyle‘s Bolton and preserve their 100% record at home. It‘s hard to see this changing when Bristol City come to town on Saturday, with Brian Laws‘ team having beaten Nottingham Forest, Leicester and Preston North End so far, the latter of which involving an amazing comeback and a Chris Iwelumo hat-trick.
The majority of the squad who went down from the Premier League last season are still at the club and they should take advantage of a Robins side who were severely disrupted by Steve Coppell‘s decision to leave Ashton Gate right at the start of the season. City are floundering in the depths of the Championship and the presence of David James between the sticks doesn‘t seem to prevent the goals flying past the former England stopper at the moment.
Best odds for the Burnley win is 1.72 with Ladbrokes.
