With Leeds deciding to blow up since the turn of the year, the Canaries have a perfect opportunity to win League One and return to the Championship at the first time of asking. Norwich have been absolutely fabulous under Paul Lambert and that opening day defeat against Colchester remains the only one at Carrow Road. Indeed, City have won their last eleven home matches, with the attacking trio of Chris Martin, Grant Holt and Wes Hoolahan proving too strong for opposition defences.
These teams have already met twice this season, drawing 2-2 at St Mary‘s in the league and the Johnstone‘s Paint Trophy (Saints winning on penalties). Alan Pardew‘s team have still got an outside chance of making the play-offs, although they have managed just four wins from fifteen away matches this term and might struggle to get anything from this game. While they produced a spirited FA Cup performance when losing to Portsmouth last Saturday, the 4-1 defeat illustrated frailty in their defence, although Norwich will have to keep wraps on dangerous striker Ricky Lambert. Best odds for the Norwich win is 1.90 at Unibet.
