While the Saddlers sit a point above the Lions in League One, they are sure to have a stern test when they travel to the New Den on Saturday. Aside from a blip against Wycombe, Millwall have looked very strong in front of their own supporters, winning six of their ten league matches. Kenny Jackett‘s team also made short work of Staines in the FA Cup on Wednesday night, winning 4-0 despite missing Neil Harris and Gary Alexander in attack.
Walsall have had a strong start to the season, with their form on the road as impressive as the Bescot Stadium. However, last Saturday‘s 3-1 home defeat against Southampton suggests that they might be in a false position, with their four away wins coming against Tranmere, Yeovil, Wycombe and Brighton, ie teams in the lower reaches of the table. Striker Darren Byfield will be out to ruffle a few feathers on his return to his old club, although Steve Morison has two goals in three games for the home side and will be hungry for more. Best odds for the Millwall win is 1.95 at Victor Chandler.
