Queens Park Rangers vs Leicester City October 30, 2009
After winning 1-0 at Reading, Foxes manager Nigel Pearson admitted that the Leicester goal had led a charmed life and it might not survive a heavier assault by the Super Hoops on Friday. Jim Magilton‘s QPR team are on fire at the moment, having scored four goals in their past three matches, with Saturday‘s 4-2 win at Derby being achieved after going two down at Pride Park. Adel Taarabt has been a superb loan acquisition by the west London club, while Jay Simpson and Wayne Routledge should cause the visitors defence plenty of problems.
Leicester currently sit above their opponents in the table and it should be noted that they have lost just one of their seven away matches to date. By the same token, only two of these have been won and it was something of a smash and grab raid at the Madejski Stadium. Reading missed a stack of chances, but the way that QPR are scoring goals at the moment, it‘s hard to see them having the same problems. Best odds for the QPR win is 2.00 at Unibet.
