Read our expert review of 22Bet and the assessment of 22Bet in all key aspects of online bookmakers
that are essential for a modern, professional and sound online football betting bookmaker.
That includes betting markets offered, odds, their website, in-play (live) betting opportunities, quality of
customer service and promotions.
Unfortunately, 22bet have stopped accepting new players and will from now operate only with the registered user. If you have an account there, you can still use it to play, however, if you were planning on registering a new 22bet account, you will not be able to do that. If you still wish to open a betting account, we recommend Paddy Power.
22Bet are a new bookmaker who are looking to build on a growing reputation to make a bigger splash in the industry. They are regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and are a fast-growing force. They are operated by TonyBet and what is giving them a very good reputation is the strength of their sportsbook.
22Bet Review & Ratings
When new bookmakers pop up there is sometimes a justifiable reason to be a little bit sceptical about their odds. After all, how are they going to have the turnover and trading strengths that the longer established bookies hold? Well, we were pleasantly surprised by the value that we found at 22bet. We looked at a range of different bets from different sports to try and stack up their odds in comparison to a few other bookmakers. Again we weren't disappointed with what we found there.
Just as an example of that, we looked at an international football match between Algeria and Nigeria who were 31/20 and 23/10 respectively in the match outright. Looking around to try and match Algeria's odds of 31/20 we saw prices from 7/5 to 6/4 around at other bookmakers. So 22bet's odds of 31/20 beat the best of those. So that was a very nice surprise. As for the 23/10 on Nigeria, we saw that matched at some major bookmakers, we also saw other bookies at the likes of 9/4 and 11/5 on them, so again 22bet were stronger.

The market variety within the 22bet sportsbook was also excellent. What we liked, first of all, was the organisation of their menu. The key current events were listed at the top for quick access and were really found in looking around that there wasn't really nice to go digging much deeper within that menu at all. Of course, there are going to be times when you need to do just that of course. Note that there is not a horse or greyhound racing available at 22bet.
There was an excellent selection of sporting variety there. Looking at the big North American markets, which is always a good place to check for market coverage from abroad, they checked a lot of boxes with American football, ice hockey and coverage from the Canadian Football League as well. You can often tell how good of a service you are going to get by the coverage of niche markets as well. 22bet have plenty of them and we saw markets for water polo, auto-moto, martial arts and more.
With football being one of the biggest areas of betting for UK punters, it was worth checking out what degree of bet variety that they were offering on matches. This is where they really started to look even stronger because on some future Premier League matches that were a wall over a month away, we found numbers in excess of 350 for alternative bets beyond the match outright options.

The website at 22bet has a really good feel to it. One of the nice things that jumps off the page is how clean and easy it is to read markets and odds on there. It's very well presented. As for navigation, it's super manageable when it comes to menu navigation. Even when you are jumping around section, the latest live in-play markets that are happening are kept underneath the bet slip for quick reference.
There is just a nice flow around the website. It's easy to find the sections, and perhaps one of the nicest things is that it just not cluttered. There is nothing to pull you away from the focus of searching the markets and finding your best.

In-Play Betting at 22Bet
The website does seem keen on pushing the active live markets. The live section works well, we found that it loaded quickly and there was excellent bet variety on the live markets. There were small and simple graphical representation of stats to show what is happening in sports. Like the court being shown along with text updates and how points have been scored for a live NBA match. It's a very nice easy flow and it moves over to mobile platforms very well through the mobile website.
Going back to some live markets, we consistently found over 400 alternative betting options available on MLS football matches, and around 30 on MLB Baseball game that was in play. Even some obscure tennis matches that we looked from the ATP Challenger Tour had over twenty on them. It is this depth of betting variety that makes an overall sportsbook so strong.

22Bet Customer Service
There are several ways that you are able to get into contact with 22bet. There are options to email or telephone. You will likely find an answer to any common question in their knowledge base within their FAQ sections. However, we did find that a little bit limited and not that in-depth beyond the most basic, common enquiries. You can also call up a form online to send them a message and when you do that, you set what the question is related to, account management for example. Their email is at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Summary of the 22Bet Ratings Review
We found 22bet to be a very good new bookmaker and one that was offering some very strong prices. They do appear to have a lot going for them in that regard. So immediately out of the gate that is a huge plus for them and that gives them a good rating here. It's not a site full of bells and whistles, but it is one that offers a tremendous betting platform, with some room to grow if you look at it from that perspective too. We enjoyed the look of the website, the process of placing a bet and bet management. With a good welcome bonus to cap it off, they are worth a look.
